COVID has taken away another gem. Maulana Waheedudin Khan passes away. We have lost a towering figure of the muslim world, a lighthouse of knowledge, wisdom and love. A redolence of tradition and progress, a messenger of peace and harmony, a man of God. A true servant of Allah. The wisdom of Islamic tradition has lost a father figure full of love. A faithful has departed. It's a void the muslims around the globe will have to wait for centuries to fill. A loss that most in our generation aren't even able to guage due to infancy of our intellect and awareness.
Mourn for we have lost an inimitable jewel.
You will be direly missed Maulana. May Allah bless you with the highest of ranks in His protection and mercy. May you find the mercy and peace with Allah, what you struggled for 90 years of your life. If someone has to see what dedication, consistency, hardwork, honesty and meaning of life is, your life will always be a beacon.
Indeed we are much less in our wealth today.

As a male do you get any respect for being polite, honest and friendly rather than successful?

In today’s society values have changed,Respect is directly proportional to the money 💰
Being a male your worth is always measured in what you bring to the table...
Politeness , friendliness and honesty does matter to some extent and it will get you respect but without money it won’t worth much tbh
Let alone others your own family members treat you differently based on how successful you are..
Sadly People these days only take advantage of your good qualities rather than appreciating them.
