I think you should respect your moms choice, but let her know you want to wear thongs. Yes, I wear them. They do not hurt, but some people consider thongs sexy. I have to buy my own though because I hate when my aunt buys me bras and thongs lol its just awkward.

I wear mine when I go out and at home. But at home when I'm just chilling I wear a sports bra. When I go out I wear normal bras. Never wear them when you sleep because that can mess up the growth of your boobs. Its not awkward haha every girl gets to that point in life. If you need better advice try asking a trusted adult about it. Maybe your mom, an older cousin or an aunt?
