i often wonder why did i have to witness the mistreatment of animals. why did i have to hear horrible stories about how men treated their own dogs. i wasn't cut out for hearing or witnessing these things. they've only created horrible memories inside this small brain of mine. i love animals & seeing them dead on the road breaks/hurts my heart. i just want to be free from these memories. they've plagued my mind. people don't care about animals that's why there's always strays walking around bc they don't have an owner that will show them love & affection. they don't have a home. i feel like my face has been beaten to a pulp by grief. way too much grief. worrying about animals. whenever i see a dog walking on the road, i freak out bc i know that dog might get hit by a car or a truck
