Question 2: Do you think those who have a legitimate fear of public speaking be given a bit of leniency when asked to do public presentations? Why or why not? (I mean leniency as not forced to do the presentation or they only have to give the presentation to the teacher instead of all the students)

Yes, there should be leniency.
People with physical illnesses receive certain "passes" or make-ups, so people with mental illnesses should receive the same. An illness is an illness, no matter what part of the body it affects.

I'm going to do another psychology themed spam. If you do not want to receive it, let me know. If any of the questions make you uncomfortable, ignore them. Please no one word answers. Question 1: Does money actually buy happiness? Why or why not?

Honestly, I think it can.
I personally know that if I had more money, I would be less stressed about finances, which would definitely make me happy.
But I don't necessarily believe that buying a bunch of material things will 100% make someone happy

Question 2: What are your thoughts on dress codes? Are they too strict? Should they be enforced in all schools?

Most dress codes are trash and double-standards.
Boys can wear pretty much whatever they want, but girls have their shoulders exposed and its considered offensive and distracting.

There's a tie for most liked on Instagram, but this is the only one of those that I have on my phone.

Question 2: Should schools start later in the morning? Why or why not?

I'm gonna say no.
Started later would mean ending later. Which would mean less time before bed for extra curricular activities, family time, a social life, homework and just relaxing.

Question 1: What are three things you're excited for?

1) Paramore concert Saturday night
2) my Walk the Moon t-shirt that should be delivered any day now
3) going to Mississippi in June with Shaun and his family

Question 1: Do you doodle? What do your doodles usually look like?

I don't really doodle, no.
The only time I do something like that is if I'm bored with nothing to do at work. And even then, it's not really doodling. I'll write stuff in different handwriting, like my name or song lyrics.
Or I'll make lists of things to do.

Question 2: What's one thing you want to accomplish in life?

Happiness, not just contentedness, in all aspects of life

Question 1: What are your thoughts on people who are unnecessarily rude? How do you deal with people who are like that?

Clearly they have something going on in their life that's making them that way. Maybe it's a defense mechanism. But sometimes people are just assholes.
I try my best to NOT deal with people like that.

Question 2: Why do you think people are so afraid to go after their dreams?

Because thing will be new and different, and there's also the possibility of failure and rejection

Question 1: Are you easily frightened/startled?

Not necessarily frightened, but sometimes I'm easily startled. Usually only when I'm already deep in though or distracted

Question 2: Are you a "people person" or do you prefer your own company?

I mean, I like some people and don't usually mind being around others.
But I do indeed enjoy being by myself a good amount of the time.

Question 1: What is your opinion on those who fake having a mental illness? Why do you think they do it? (I mean faking as in actually pretending to have a mental illness)

Disgusting. Mental illness isn't a joke and shouldn't be mocked.
They probably do things like that because they have no respect, are ableist trash, and need attention.

Question 1: Do you believe in fate/destiny? Why or why not?

Yes and no.
I kind of believe that some things are "meant" to happen--like you're "meant" to meet certain people at certain times. But I do believe we have free will and that the choices we make to get us through life are up to us.

Question 1: What book did you not expect to like but did? (If you don't read just ignore this)

Probably something by Shakespeare. He was required reading in school, so I wasn't looking forward to all of it, but I love Shakespeare now.
I also like a lot of classic stuff, though old English is kinda difficult

Do you wear any jewelry?

My nose ring (only take it out for work).
At least two earring in my ears (it's been a bow stud and a rose stud in my top two holes for the last month or so).
My treble-clef necklace.

Do you believe that consciousness, as in both our self awareness/how we think and being conscious of the things around us, is inherent to human beings or is it empirical?

I think a bit of both.
It's human nature in the very basic senses, such as what objects and things like that are; a house is a house and a car is a car and feeling are feeling
But I think the deeper level of it is also based on experience. An object can be mundane to one person, but mean the world to another person. One song or movie or person can bring up different feelings for different people.

Question 1: If you could give one piece of advice to pass on to the next generation, what would it be?

Use common sense and just THINK before making decisions.
Love yourself.

Friends: What is the longest friendship you've had?

My first best friend ever, actually.
We were friends from kindergarten to freshman year of high school, so 10 years.

Shameless: Do you get along with your family? (Ignore if you're uncomfortable with answering)

For the most part, yes. I think I get along best with my younger brother, though. Honestly, I don't think any of us are very close anymore. But we don't necessarily have any issues with each other at all

House of Cards: Do you hold grudges or do you usually let things go?

Let things go, I guess. I mean, there are still some things from the past that bother me when I think about them, but I'm not mad about any of it, so I wouldn't say I have a grudge
