Hello there, anon. I'm just relaxing until work later, watching tv and reading a book. I'm tired, but pretty good.
With the news media capitalizing on the negative or sensationalism, how can you influence them to keep things in a positive way?
In order to add more positivity to news media, we need to work to CHANGE all the negative. If someone fights hard enough to make a change, it'll be a big deal.
When you think back to the past what are you reminded of and how does it make you feel?
It makes me think of high school, of my old friends, of the boyfriends I had and the struggles all that brought me.It makes me proud to have overcome all those struggles and that I have accomplished so much since then. I've become more confident and outgoing, and I've learned my self worth.
How can we encourage the news media to report more stories about the good things that young people are doing?
Flood the stations with proposals for these kind of stories. Or make a video of what you're already doing, put it on YouTube, and have it go viral. Though I think these "feel-good" stories are better suited for local news channels, not national channels.
Do you see any problems in the manner the news is reported?
It's all biased. Simple as that.
What is your favorite thing in your room?
my college diploma, my instruments, anything that reminds me of Shaun
If you were to change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
my weight
How can you be motivated?
The idea of my future keeps me motivated. I want a nice house and a happy family. That plan motivates me to do the best I can in life.
If you could choose any news story of the past year to cover, what would it be and why?
The horrific events taking place in Ferguson, MO. Most people don't know what happened at all, or that the protests are still going on. Plus most large media stations haven't been allowed in the area. And there are still so many questions surrounding the events that started the whole thing.
When one should stop learning?
Never, but apparently ask stopped learning English a while ago
Should students in public schools were uniforms?
No, they shouldn't. Students should be able to express themselves through clothing, as long as certain areas are covered.
Should it be made mandatory that high school students participate in philanthropic projects in their community? Would this benefit the student or the community?
No, I don't think it should be mandatory. If they are applying for scholarships or something like that, then maybe, but not in general. High school students already have a lot on their plates. Those who are interested in doing that kind of work will do it on their own account, anyway. Having students involved who do not want to be isn't beneficial at all.
How do you feel about the high rate of teenage suicide? What could be done about it?
it's sad that anyone feels that bad about life. teach other kids to stop being assholes and stop bullying. show them they are loved. also, if a teenager comes to you talking about their feelings TAKE THEM SERIOUSLY.
not my kind of video, and I don't even use my youtube account. sorry.
How can high school better prepare students for college?
teach students how to study and explain to them how college is different than high school.
lets say im at the park with you and you get teary eyed bc its windy. how many times would you wipe your eye then look at your finger?
maybe once or twice to see if I smudged my makeup.
Should minors convicted for a violent crime be sentenced as an adult?
It depends on the age of the minor and the seriousness of the crime. A child getting into a fight or destroying property? No. A pre-teen or teenager who kills or rapes, knowing it is wrong? Absolutely. But when it comes to younger people, I think it's important to look at their home life and state of mind.
I'm not about that fake celebrity page business. seriously, these "like for like" questions are the most annoying. the only reason I'm even responding to this one, is to say that anymore will simply be deleted.
Should we take drivers licenses away from high school dropouts, why or why not?
No, of course not. Those two things aren't even correlated. The low says once you hit a certain age, you can go out for your driver's license. It doesn't say anything about that person having to be in school. Also if the person isn't in school, in theory, they should be working. It's really hard to find, get to and keep a job without a reliable form of transportation.
Well thank you.. I'm glad we can reach a peaceful resolve. If you ever do decide to give out your number, or facebook then hit me up. I'd love to hear your opinion on certain topics.
I'm glad too, thanks. I hope you have a good night!
Okay, you're right. I had no reason to come at you like that. I do apologize, and honestly by your choice of words I can tell you're quite intelligent. That's pretty attractive. Aye, let's just end this positively. You have a beautiful smile, and gorgeous eyes.
And based on this, I take back my "ignorance" comment. Thank you for your apology and for the compliments.
Indulge my ignorance? Let me reiterate something that you can't seen to understand. I am not a little kid, I am not someone who will stand idle while you insult me. If anything, I am probably one of the few guys who could challenge you.
You act like we've been having some extensive debate. You cannot reiterate a point you haven't even tried to make. You sent one rude comment to me. I have not even mentioned your age, so that point of yours was pretty irrelevant. And if I recall, you "insulted" me first. I'm not even sure what you'd even be challenging me on. I've seen your posts to @dancingwiththedevilinthemidnightsun so I know you can be kind and I've done nothing to you, so I don't understand why you've come to me like this.
Damn for a 23 year old, you're pretty uptight man. Sounding more like a narcissistic 14 year old.
I'm not uptight, I'm just opinionated and educated. Sorry that's too much for you to handle. I've seen you harassing a couple other girls I follow and I'm not going to indulge your ignorance. Move along.
What is the Universe made of?
light matter, dark matter, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen...all that kind of jazz
