What's the most expensive thing you've ever broken?

Probably my old laptop. That damn thing broke so many times

What can you do today that you couldn’t do a year ago? What will you be able to do at this time next year?

what can I do today that I couldn't do a year ago:
I could probably get a job in the biology field if I tried hard enough
I can buy a car of my own
I can afford to pay the few bills I have (student loans, phone bill)
what I will (HOPEFULLY) be able to do by this time next year:
start thinking about saving for a house
become engaged
stop working at Dunkin Donuts
I've realized that I've become an adult, and I'm not super excited about it

If you could watch everything that happened in your life until now, would you enjoy it? Why/why not?

for the most part, yes. though there are several moments and experiences that I would have to turn away from and wouldn't be able to watch.

Describe the greatest adventure of your life

I'd have to say going to college.
I moved out of my house to go live on campus. By the time I got to college, I had drifted away from all of my high school friends and had to make new ones. I had three different boyfriends by the time I graduated. I learned that college is a lot harder than high school.
I started on that adventure mostly alone, insecure, and worried. I learned so much about myself and about life during the 5 years I spent on campus. I kind of feel like a mostly different person now than I was when I started.

If you dropped everything to pursue your dreams, what would you be risking?

I wouldn't even have to drop anything to pursue my dreams.
I have a happy, healthy relationship. I have a part-time job. I'm searching for a full-time job. I'm searching for my own car. I'm saving up money.
Everything I'm doing right now in my life is to finally reach my life goals one day.

When was the last time you went to the beach?

about a month ago. a few of us from the fraternity went to Cape Cod and spent three days on the beach. it was lovely
When was the last time you went to the beach

Have you ever played golf?

I've played Wii Golf, and they tried to teach us the very basics of the sport in PE in high school, but that's about it.

Girls misuse it! models sell it! photographers cage it! doctors advice it! death freezes it! artists create it! Guess, what's that??

beauty, or a smile.

Do you think that people take advantage of the insanity plea after a huge crime? How about temporary insanity? Do you think that temporary insanity shouldn't be used as a claim at all?

I do think the insanity plea is taken advantage of, but luckily they have doctors who can determine whether or not the suspect is actually insane or mentally unstable. Though it can be easy to fake.
I don't really like the temporary insanity plea. I'm sure in some cases it is relevant and it is possible for someone to just snap. But for the most part, I think the plea is used by people who just don't know how to control themselves and use temporary insanity to explain away why they lost control. But for the most part, if you cannot control yourself, that is your own fault.

What do you consistently attract in your life that is no longer good enough for you?

Toxic relationships. In the past, I've had 2 long-term relationship and they were both bad. I've been sexually, mentally and emotionally abused. I was controlled. I knew these relationships were shit, but I didn't realize until recently just how awful and damaging those guys were.
I refuse to let anyone treat me that way ever again. Now, I would leave the second I felt my well-being was in danger. But my current boyfriend is amazing and would never treat me that way because he truly loves and respects me. I don't have to feel bad about being myself anymore.

When did you last talk yourself out of something when deep down you wanted to do it?

The first thing I thought of was a couple weeks ago. We were at a local bar and it was karaoke night. My boyfriend said I should get up and sing something, and I kind of wanted to because I love singing and I'm good at it. But my stage fright got the best of me and I didn't go through with it.
But we went back last night on karaoke night and I made up for it. I got up there, sang "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood, and everyone I was there with said I did really well.

When should parents let teens make their own decisions?

I think it should be a working process; the older the teen, the more freedom they should have. They must be able to be mature enough to consider the consequences of the decision they are making. It's important to let your children be themselves, but it's also important they know their limits. They aren't adults yet.

Since the underlying message of most spiritual traditions is virtually identical, and calls for us to love and accept one another, why do you suppose so much violence and bloodshed seems to arise from religious groups?

People misinterpret and manipulate the teachings of their religions. It usually results in believing that they should accept and love someone only if they have the same belief system. Then these extremists use their twisted view of their religion as an excuse to be violent against anyone who they disagree with. These people do no know the true underlying message of their belief system.

Ayee bby you're perfect, go like my answers? <3

Hey thanks. But please don't call me baby. And if I see an answer I actually like, then sure, I'll like it.

Do you talk to yourself?

I mean, I don't have conversations with myself. But I find that verbally expressing something helps better with my thought process than just thinking it through.
