You're right. After realizing the errors of my ways, I now think Kirito is the greatest anime character ever. I can relate to that one time he came back to life using a Deus Ex Machina, I can relate to his waifu being raped by a tentacle monster and a butterfly cosplayer, I can relate to his incestious relationship, and I can TOTALLY relate to his harem of women who he picks up like Pokemon.

He's more or less invincible. And even when he does "die" or is put in mortal danger, they pull some Deus Ex Machina shit out of their ass to have him come out on top. The show doesn't potray him as flawed. They potray him as VIDYA GAEM JEEBUS and the best thing since sliced bread when all he is is a one dimensional Gary Stu of a character character.
