OMG thank you for the long reply! I am not malaysian nor singaporean I am filchi (filipino-chinese), and sometimes I pick up singlish words bc I am friends with sg / my peeps (fandom perks). The thing is, my friends don't want to teach me bc they said we can communicate in english so why bother --

Ohhhhh! I see ;O; funny I have a classmate who's half Filipino and Half chinese too! That's just sad that they won't help you at all :( well I can say watch some chinese dramas it can probably help too ;-; not China ones but maybe Taiwanese ones ;; (the slang is not as heavy) and I think easier to find with English subs! I hope your friends are really not going to just think less of you just cause you don't understand the language, cause it's not your fault ;-; and yeah, you can still communicate in English :) don't think less of yourself either!

I feel so useless... I'm chinese and I can't speak chinese. It's not that I chose not to, I just wasn't given the opportunity to learn the language. Now I just discovered my friends and classmates who can speak / write in chinese has a separate chat in which I don't belong.. bc I can't speak chinese

Ahhhh actually don't feel too bad? I mean it's not your fault and you didn't choose to not learn the language or in anyway anti it ;-; I have friends who don't know chinese or any dialect of chinese ;; it didn't stop us from being friends, although we might make fun of them once in a while, but in a friendly way. You can always learn/pickup now!!! At least learn how to listen, understand and speak ;; I know it is hard to learn how to read and write/type but it's a start ;; are you Malaysian or Singaporean though? I am pretty sure you can find people or someone who is willing to teach you, not formally but maybe casually, one word one sentence in a while ;^;~ and if your friends have a separate chat from you just because you don't speak chinese, well, I don't know what they're talking about in there or why they have a separate one... If they're talking bad about you, if they think less of you just cause you don't know chinese then screw... Them? Ok I shouldn't be mean but then don't feel bad about yourself cause it is not your fault at all!!! I mean I don't have a separate group chat with my friends who know the same language apart from those who doesn't ;-; can there be any other reason that you're not in the group? Maybe it's a birthday plan group chat for you? Who knows haha ><...but anyway back to learning, I have friends who knows no chinese at first too, but they pick up! They learn how to speak and understand now they can sometimes type in chinese, not really sure if it's correct 100% but most of the time it made sense, since there's the function on phones and computers ;; and you can always use a translator and GUESSSSSSS the meaning of something ;; it's not the best option but it is worth a try >< anyway I hope, I really really hope you don't feel bad about yourself JUST BECAUSE OF THIS!!! It's not your fault! Cheer up :))) and you're not alone!!!

It means you're just a level one member. Yes you can't post things or see most thing on the fancafe. It's cause you did not level up that's all.

I am guessing you mean when they use it at the bottom of the word? (When you romanized them)? Like "쉿" it'll be something like "suit"? Idk how to explain but it's just how it is when they end a word? ;; I'm not sure too since I never took lessons huhu

My favorite is probably....... Idk I can't choose between I Need U or Dope... INU has this very nice cinematography and it also made sense to me, it brought a lot of meaning to me. dope on the other hand was beautifully made the cutting the sync and all ;;;; I love it haha
