Haha... It's a trend then~ it happens in Malaysia too! And I am very sad to admit that some are my friends... I did it for like once or twice then I stopped... I admit I tried it before... I was just waiting at the lobby tho... And I was like well... I didn't bother them tho lol... But I know it's bad so I stopped... I hope people can realize this too and stop...
Referring to the PH fanbase stalking on kpop idol. This is true actually lots of PH fans no need to be fanbases in particular they actually stalked and some over night at the hotel lobby just to get a glimpse of the idol. They even follow the idols into lift or roam at the flr where the idol stay.
Oh... Well that is very common to be honest... I have known people who does the same thing, moreover following the idol to the place they eat and stare at them when they eat, to the extend they asked the restaurant to get a border or something to block them away... I know there are a lot of Fansite that but being a fanbase you should set a good example... If you're gonna be a stalker.... Well... It's just a bad influence I think =<
Some fans are not thinking things through a marketing perspective, they put the Hotel Name in the poster because its a SPONSOR. And sponsors conditions that they should be known to be part of the event. It makes me laugh that they think its better to just announce it on twt -cont-
/-cont- it they just put it on twitter and not on the poster it means that the hotel is not a sponsor or something and thats when they should get mad. Just my opinion. what disappointed me is the somewhat rude way the organizers answered/replied to this/
Ok I see your point here, but to be honest, from my experience and perspectives, I would say this. Every company has their way of doing their promotions and thanking their partners and sponsors, maybe the way how this organizer has done it is not favorable, but if they did it without the permission then that is really wrong, if they have the permission then people have all, the rights to be mad and stuff. I will just say, I have came across quite some organizing companies, and the way they do things are very, well, unsystematic and unprofessional... I don't know, at least in Malaysia, that's the case. They have management problems I am pretty sure about it. And, this is really something we should let them know and they should look into it, and improve.
As for the rude way of replying, I TOTALLY SEE YOUR POINT!!! I am like, wtf you're so rude... I am saying this, this is not once I have seen organizers replying fans in a rude and unprofessional manner, I have seen worst. But you need to realize that it may not be them who are running the page and replying inquiries, they actually hire particular person for that position to reply all of them, I would say, please fire the person and hire me cause I bet I can totally do better (lol). Yes, the person is TOTALLY rude. I can only agree and say nothing more.
Lastly, what I really want to say is, even if the organizers posts about the hotel or not, stalkers who want to stalk WILL FIND it, they will, they just will, I KNOW because I just, I know these kind of people ok. Singapore is a small country, it is so much more easy to find out... The most important thing is that we don't do it ourselves, convince others not to do it... That is all that we can do... =< this is the sad fact tbh...
If what I said about in my tweets sound offending or anything I apologize, but because I have came across not only once of these things... It's just some of my thoughts... I just don't want fans to make things ugly between them and the organizers, it does us no good... tbh...
