guys, please switch to the OD 10 ball bearings. out of all the newer CLYW yoyos I've bought the bearings all sucked. I played them for about 2-3 days with this bearing and it just got annoying. the OD 10 ball is much higher quality and would greatly benefit the stock performance of your yoyos (:

None of our team likes those either...basically our return tops just play better with centering bearings, not flat. -Steve

One more question before I decide whether I try a Gnarwhal 2 or wait and see what Harrison's signature is like: will Harrison's throw be undersized or at least feel that way? I do love when a yoyo feels small in the hand.

Harrison's new return top is full sized and feels that way. -Steve

Chris, this might sound a little weird but Yogi just farted, and it was a silent but Deadly. He hides the smell so you don't get mad at him.

"Ma'am, the phone call is coming from inside the house."

Just downed a shot of syrup in your honour, Steve. Appreciate your regular presence on this page, always patiently answering our endless demands regarding when which throw will be out in which colours and at what price. Great work you do for the CLYW brand. Shoutout to Chris, Chuck and the rest too!

Aww damn...thanks! I do try.
Chris and Charles are amazeballs. -Steve

Wow! How does Chris manage to design such a small throw! I've put a Gnarwhal in my hand, it's really small, but now I can only imagine the Campfire.

The Campfire was a straight-up pocket throw. It did really well, sales-wise, but just didn't quite work out for our line. We might revisit something in that size in the future if we can make the costs work, but nothing specifically planned at the moment. -Steve

I enjoy the spin and stability of the BvM2, but also love the organic shape of the MarkMont. Classic. A ONEstar also feels very natural in the hand, whereas the feel of the Shutter is not what I like. Based on this, what CLYW throw would you recommend I try in the future?

You're gonna love Harrison's new return top. -Steve

Damn you Steve! Playing with us not showing Harrison's sig in your hand! It's a solid blue the one you had in your hand? Also is the model final or is it a proto?? Describe the design of the yoyo or just show us a picture PLEASE! Also I didn't know you were a fan of pink string too!

I have four prototypes here. One is mine, the other three are Harrison's, and I'll be delivering them to him in Las Vegas this weekend. I'm not showing it to anyone until Harrison has gotten his samples...but shortly after Harrison gets his samples, I'll post a pic and specs of the prototype, along with Harrison's comments and first impressions. :)
For the record, Pink Kitty String (Fat) is my absolute favorite string in the whole wide world. High five, Hiro Koba! -Steve

Hey, not wanting to be rude but you guys planned to release the Yeti by the end of last year but then made a run in January and then said you have more this year but now it's January. What's up about this can you give us a better understanding with the situation of the Yeti?

The situation is this: we're a tiny operation, and we just haven't figured out how to get these out the door without an absurd amount of hand-polishing and testing. We can release them in production colors, 30 at a time for $95 each, but that would be lame and awful...the alternative is to wait a bit longer so that we can get assembly figured out and get them on shelves at a reasonable price.
Trust me when I say this is definitely a priority for us...it's just something that has proven to be A LOT harder than we had hoped. Thanks for being patient...we're trying! -Steve

And next run of bonfire please!!

Do you know haw much will the yetis cost? In January? How long did it take for them to all get bought up last batch?

No set price yet. No idea how long it took them to sell out last time, but I expect they will go fast again. -Steve

If i like the wm2 and the puffin 2, will i enjoy the Gnarwhal 2 as much? or is it a different play style?

It's pretty different from both of those. Hard to say if you'll like it or not, but I really love it. I feel like it's kind of like a "heavyweight" version of the Puffin 2, because of how much more concentrated the rim weight is. -Steve

Can u whrite soneting about Gnarwhal 2 please? Something about origins and these things.

It was designed in the head of Chris Mikulin, and it's a lovely and remarkable return top with long spin times, tremendous amount of focused rim weight, and comes in a bevy of delightful color schemes. -Steve
