Sometimes, even though I know it probably isn’t right. As someone who has struggled with depression, I know it isn’t funny when people can make fun at something that serious (especially those who don’t know what it’s like), but it does also bring some sort of awareness in a sense, so it’s hard to say.

Hi Grace, I have one more question if you don't mind.... how often do you recommend changing them? I don't want my dad to get mad at me for going through them too quickly but I also don't want to smell or be uncomfortable or unhealthy :( Thanks again!
I’m sorry I took so long to answer, but I’m not on here a lot! With tampons, experts recommend changing them every 4-8 hours (or whenever it is used enough to comfortably pull out without injury as long as it is around that many hours) so that you aren’t at risk of toxic shock, but with pads that time can fluctuate a little bit. On my lighter days, I can use only two pads a day because there isn’t a lot that comes out, so it isn’t uncomfortable or smelly or anything. If he gets mad about how quick you’re using them, maybe try to explain why they go so fast or try to buy some yourself too? Best of luck and feel free to do more research! 💖💖💖
