What is your plan for this week?

Wolf Time
Well tomorrow I'm ditching university and I will go buy some last presents for Christmas and try to clean up my flat at least a bit. Thursday I'll finally see my boyfriend again, we will probably pack our things and go visit his mum and grandma for a few days. I'll be drunk a lot I guess. :'D But I also want to write my stories and work on university stuff cause I really have so much to do. :x

Wennd u dich klonen könntest und es gäbe zwei exakte Kopien von dir, wäre die welt besser oder schlechter mit zwei von dir?

Schlechter. Eine von mir ist schon anstrengend. :D

After this strange encounter, Billy decided to leave the boarding house. Write the conversation he had with the landlady. (250-300 words). Thank you!

I'm sorry but I won't do this because that's too creepy. She's a fuckin' psycho, I'm not writing a dialogue about her reaction cause she'll probably tries to murder him, too. Thank you anyway for this interesting story that just scares me. :'D

The cliff-hanging ending. Is there any explicit denouement? What can readers conclude?

I don't think there really is any conclusion that everyone can come to. It's an open end so you can use all your own fantasy. Personally I believe that she murdered those men and has stuffed them. I don't know why (maybe because she lost a son or something like Billy thinks) but that's my conclusion.

g. Something strange seems to be happening so far…Quote 3 examples which are puzzling for Billy and the reader. …………………………………………………………………………………….............................. Make a list of the elements that give a negative impression and foreshadow the events? .......

g) "He was in the act of stepping back and turning away from the window when all at once his eye was 100 caught and held in the most peculiar manner by the small notice that was there. BED AND BREAKFAST, it said. BED AND BREAKFAST, BED AND BREAKFAST, BED AND BREAKFAST. Each word was like a large black eye staring at him through the glass, holding him, compelling him, forcing him to stay where he was and not to walk away from that house, and the next thing he knew, he was actually moving across from the window to the front door of the house, climbing the steps that led up to it, and reaching for the bell."
"He pressed the bell. Far away in a back room he heard it ringing, and then at once – it must have been at once because he hadn’t even had time to take his finger from the bell-button – the door swung open and a woman was standing there. Normally you ring the bell and you have at least a half-minute’s wait before the door opens. But this dame was a like a jack-in-the-box. He pressed the bell – and
out she popped! It made him jump."
“I suppose he left fairly recently,” Billy said.
He was still puzzling his head about the two names. He was positive now that he had seen them in the newspapers – in the headlines. “Left?” she said, arching her brows. “But my
dear boy, he never left. He’s still here. Mr Temple is also here. They’re on the third floor, both of them together.”
________
Well first the lady was super quick and the bed and breakfast was too cheap to be a normal one with normal guests. Second is that there wer just two other guests except Billy. She stuffs dead animals, that's creepy as fuck, why shouldn't she just stuff huimans, too? The lady tries to distract Billy when he's starting to talk about that he saw these men in the newspaper.

f. Quote 6 expressions (from line 38 down to line 48) which make Billy think that the boarding house “would be a pretty decent house to stay in”. ……

Probably "no shops", "wide street", "tall houses", "porches and pillars", "four or five steps going up to their front doors" & "it was obvious that once upon a time they had been very swanky residences.".

e)What happened suddenly?

Billy found out that the woman was stuffing dead animals and has a connection to two missed persons. She says they're still living there but I kind of think she murdered and stuffed them.

d. What is the story about? (sum it up in one sentence) …………………………………………………………………………………….............................. e. What happened suddenly? …

It's about a young man coming into a nice looking bed and breakfastand meeting a very strange gentle middle-aged woman who seems to hide something dark.

b. Where does the scene take place? (Name of the town, details about the street). …………………………………………………………………………………….............................. c. Who is the main character present? (Name, age, clothes, job) ……

b) It takes place in Bath. anything else I'd just like to quote: "There were no shops on this wide street that he was walking along, only a line of tall houses on each side, all them
identical. They had porches and pillars and four or five steps going up to their front doors, and it was obvious that once
upon a time they had been very swanky residences. But now, even in the darkness, he could see that the paint was
peeling from the woodwork on their doors and windows, and that the handsome white façades were cracked and blotchy from neglect."
c) It's Billy Weaver who is 17 years old. "He was wearing a new navy-blue overcoat, a new brown trilby hat, and a new brown suit, and he was feeling fine. He walked briskly down the street. He was trying to do everything briskly these days. Briskness, he had decided, was the one common
characteristic of all successful businessmen."

Read the following text in its entirety carefully: https://www.teachingenglish.org.uk/sites/teacheng/files/landlady_text.pdf Once you have read the text: Answer the following questions. Quote from the text if necessary. a. When do the events happen? (Season, moment of the day). ………

Woah, feelin' like being in school again. Strange but still interesting.
The events happen about nine o'clock in the evening when the story begins (ignoring the afternoon train). I don't know the season, just found that it was described as "cold" in one line.
