What’s the number one thing that helps you burn calories as in, what activities do you do that make you lose weight like none other and if it’s exercise, which exercises?

Just walking a lot, outside or on a treadmill, and being in a calorie deficit is the key.
If someone normally eats 2,000 calories a day, and drops to 1,500 calories a day (a 500 calorie deficit), that’s enough to lose a pound a week steadily until they reach their goal.

Which historical period do you find most interesting? Why? ⏳

I love the 1920’s, everything about it. The fun, the energy, the music, the clothes, the furniture, architecture, and art deco style. I would have loved to be a flapper :)

Has there been a time when you struggled to kick off a bad habit? How was it like and were you successful?

shahcknngts’s Profile Photoshahpotato
Yes I was prescribed anti anxiety meds and they are addictive. It took me so long to wean myself off. I was patient and just kept plugging away at lowering my dose each week. I know now how addictive they are and how hard I worked to get off them, so I’m very careful with them and only use them in emergencies.

Would you rather be stranded in the woods with a man or bear (I saw this on the socials)?

Neo_gs’s Profile PhotoI Wonder Where The Kitten Are
Most bears are scared of humans and will only attacked if provoked or in defense of their cubs. I think I read there’s only like 40 bear attacks worldwide in a whole year.
Verses worldwide, 133 women are murdered *every day* by a man they know, a family member or a husband/partner.
I’ll go with the vast majority of women who are saying they choose the bear. The bear, even if it would kill me, at least wouldn’t r*pe me or be creative with me first. Bears are somewhat predictable; men I don’t know aren’t, and can often be scary and violent.
I find it interesting that so many fathers, when asked this same question about their daughters, also chose the bear.
It must be exhausting to be a good man when there are so many bad ones out there ruining it for the decent guys :/

I am sorry to say something dumb.

We all say dumb things. Think of the dumbest thing you’ve ever said, and 100% someone somewhere has out-dumbed you 😆 This is how I comfort myself anyway

I appear to be filled with rage for some unknown reason. Proceed with caution.

Don’t expect people to tiptoe around your rage. It’s a problem for the person experiencing out of control emotions; they have to learn to manage themselves. Whether that be isolating themselves for awhile, therapy, exercise, meditation. No one should have to manage your anger except you.

Many thesis say that not having breakfast effects mental performance, your attention, ability to concentrate. What breakfast you eat today?

Morgen_muffel’s Profile PhotoMorgen_muffel
I had yogurt with fresh blueberries but I think it’s ok not to eat breakfast. As long as you are hydrated in the morning.
Primitive humans didn’t eat 3 meals a day; they ate when they hunted or gathered something. Some days they didn’t eat at all, other days they feasted on a big kill. The concept of eating 3 meals a day is more of a modern consumerism idea than a health goal.

Have you made your sunscreen debut? If not, when do you usually? ☀️

I used SPF 50 at the beach last weekend! I burn so easily

I stayed up way too late last night finishing the show “Beef” on Netflix
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a show this good; it has maybe 10 episodes or so.
It stars Steven Yeun (Glen from The Walking Dead) and Ali Wong as two drivers who get in a road rage altercation and how they keep ramping it up with each other’s lives and it has a domino effect. It was so good; I highly recommend 😊
