How did your day start?"

So far so good. Usually on Sundays I'm rushed and up to 5 minutes late to church, especially with traffic. Today I had a hot breakfast, which was both unusual and nice, and I'll probably be early by 5-10 minutes.

I've always appreciated females with longer hair, but I realize this is a maintenance intensive endeavor.

If you had a choice to either feel no fear or feel no pain for the rest of your life, which would you choose?

Both of these are important feedback mechanisms.
Pain is very necessary. Diabetics lose the ability to feel sensations in their feet, then get injured, infected, and then lose their foot to amputation.
Fear is necessary as well. Someone who has a healthy relationship with the God of the Bible is supposed to 'fear God.' The posture of 'fearing God' is altogether lost on Christians in modern society who no longer believe there is any negative consequences from living in sin - because God is their 'friend' and blankets them with infinite forgiveness no matter the status of their heart. I struggle with this mentality to a degree, and I'm certain it is not spiritually advantageous. Repentance of a sin, as required to be forgiven, reflects a genuine desire to change and do better. Some people view it as license - which is very dangerous. A heart that puts the desire to sin above a desire to obey flirts with idolatry.
Jesus had something to say about that in Luke 16:13, "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” I pray daily that God would sanctify my heart, and that I would be a man after God's own heart - because I struggle with this spiritually more than anything. I also pray that Christ would always be sufficient for me. ((Money is not the issue that I struggle with, an impure heart is.))
Back to the question. Not considering a fear of God that is healthy, I think fear is the mechanism that can be dismissed with the least negative consequences. My life has little fear in it already, and I am mostly fine except for my spiritual health.
You may ask, "Don't you deal with anxiety?" I do, but 95% of the time it is not environmentally induced. The 5% of the time it is environmentally induced I believe it has a spiritual warfare component, so I pray to God for deliverance and I am delivered.
This is too public to go deeper here. There are trade-offs for each that can be considered. I think I would want vibrant physical health in every manor more than no pain or no fear.

Is it bad to sleep with a lamp on?

I think light disrupts healthy sleep. However, after getting out of bed semi-consciously in a perfectly dark room and crashing into furniture (breaking a hamper), I decided I needed some light to orient myself. I know blue frequencies interfere with circadian rhythms, so I chose just enough red frequency light so that I would be able to get my bearings if I repeated the experience. Both of the two lights that I setup are indirect. If I'm out of bed I notice the lights much more than the indirect hue I see from in bed. The lights are also as minimal as possible by design/purposeful modification.
My dreams are sometimes vivid.

Are girls more dramatic than boys?

I don't think sex determines coping methods nearly as much as developmental experience.
I know an older woman who has had ongoing bouts with cancer that seems very collected despite week to week surgeries and treatments. She is a Christian.
I think faith determines calmness and ability to persevere with peace more than anything. If someone's future is secure in Christ, they can be put through anything and everything yet still manage to function and even thrive.
People who don't believe in God fall apart when they consider the futility of life - especially an existence that is mistakenly believed to end at death. If you believe in God yet don't have faith in Christ, the end of this life is the last good you will experience. That is a crushing realization. I think that is why people who have a firm faith in Christ behave entirely differently in the face of being terminally ill. To them, the end of life on earth is only the beginning of their experience.

Would you be interested in experiencing hypnosis?

I don't know. What's the purpose?
During my college years a doctor made an attempt and couldn't hypnotize me.
In general I don't think my self awareness or wakeful discernment is prohibiting progress in my development. I also have fully processed my life. I don't deal with bottled up emotions of any sort.
I would be interested in understanding the method, purpose and benefits.

What else can you give?

I really don't know.
I've given you everything I could think of, especially considering your hostility/game. My writing for instance takes a great deal of time. I've written books to you - 1000s of pages. I treat you as I would want to be treated. I give you a great deal of my time thinking that will make a difference. I have done everything appropriate that I could think of. I'm limited because of how you respond to me. Despite your supposed interest in this and constant attention, you consistently sabotage a healthy relationship.
Regardless of your hostility/game, I've remained faithful to you for close to 11 years. I try to be patient to the best of my ability.
My life has been on hold since I graduated. I've tried to provide every opportunity to allow this to work out. That's a reason why I've lived close by. Living close by has cost a great deal. I have wanted a partner more than a career. I needed a friend.

Are you jealous?

I can earn enough on my own to keep myself comfortable.
What infuriates me is the waste of my life and time.

How do you control you anger?

My life has had many negative events that have occurred consistently throughout my life. It's one thing after another.
The secret to keeping a clear head is my relationship with God.
One verse in particular comes to mind:
Galatians 5:22-23 (NASB)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
The fruit of the spirit is the result of the work of the Holy Spirit, as well as the presence of the Holy Spirit within your life.
What this says: If God is important to you and you have a right relationship with God, and you allow God to sanctify your life,
You will:
(1) Love others - as Christ loves us - Your capacity for genuine love is the result of God's work in you and your relationship with God! This is despite our circumstances!
(2) Have Joy - If God is in your life, you are going to have a happiness and confidence that no one can take away! Your future is already secure and it is glorious - when you know your future is great, what you go through to get to your future hardly matters!
(3) Have Peace - Is life really screwed up? If your focus is on Christ, even if you are on death row, you know:
Romans 8:28 (NKJV)
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. " (A verse in memory for me)
(4) Have Patience - Patience is a God given ability to wait, even if things are uncomfortable. A big part of patience is realizing God is in control. God told Abraham in mid life that he would be a father of a great nation. Abraham had to wait until he was about 100 before he fathered his first son. Abraham was a man of faith. Jesus is a descendant of Abraham's lineage! What an honor! Abraham is also the forefather of the nation of Israel. Can you imagine having to wait 50 years for a promise to even take shape? God does things in His timing.
(8) Be characterized by being Gentle - This is most apparent when someone is angry. God gives us the example of forgiveness found in Christ, where even though Christ was perfect he bore the punishment of all men who profess His name. This example of forgiveness and the preeminent focus in Christianity of forgiving others so that Christ can forgive us

Also Matthew 6:15 "But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."
Ability to forgive is one route to gentleness, but some expressions of anger are not sinful - like Jesus being angry at the temple money changers who had turned God's house into a den of thieves. Anger with gentleness is a restrained anger that doesn't sin. It is an anger that seeks restoration and forgiveness after wrongdoing.
(9) Self-control - Again a person full of the spirit doesn't sin when angry.

What is your favourite attribute about yourself???

By far my favorite attribute is my relationship with Christ, because that relationship gives life and changes every other attribute in life. Without Christ, my life is nothing!
1 Corinthians 1:18-31

Who is your most hated celebrity?

I don't like people who have built their life legacy on a pursuit of power with the desire to follow in the steps of Nimrod.
Two people that I identify as being the most like Nimrod in the public sphere of influence are Al Gore and Jeff Bezos, for different reasons.
Nimrod was a 'hunter of men.'
Gore has not been so successful in comparison to Bezos, but Gore's desire to be a hunter of men has consumed his life.
There are some other hunters of men in America, the top leadership of Google, Facebook, and Apple also include some hunters of men.
Monetary success isn't in itself bad. Power can be yielded for good. It is when monetary success and power become the central focus of life that the danger arises - the worship of Mammon.
Life is like a fair named Vanity - Vanity Fair. The owner of Vanity Fair has dominion over this world and is in charge of the fair. When you buy all of the vanity the fair has to offer, you become like the man in charge of the fair - he after all is the one in charge of selling the vanity.
The Prince of Peace was offered the role of being in charge of Vanity Fair, but he wanted none of it. The person in charge did indeed own the fair, so it was his to give, but there are some things more important than vanity in life, and the Good Prince knew this.

What is the most useful thing/skill/habit (of any nature, personal or professional) you've learnt/developed in your life?

Curiosity and love of reading.
I also have the capacity to understand complexity because this has been a lifelong trait. In 3rd grade I trounced everyone else in my school with number of books read. They were simple books, but about the same time I started reading Aviation Week & Space Technology (A weekly industry newsletter my dad bought a subscription for, just for me.). This was my beginning. I still read Aviation Week & Space Technology even now, among other journals.
As a child I was encouraged to question everything around me. My father would do his best to explain phenomena until I would wear him out (He was more patient and capable than almost all adults I've observed in answering technical questions to a kid.). My father was a mechanical engineer by education (pilot by trade), so he was more capable than most at explaining what I saw around me in more technical terms than most. He also had a military background (he retired as a Captain in the Navy). This opened up a great deal of questions about military technologies, which I think are at the forefront of what is possible with engineering.
My tendency to research things around me for background knowledge is immense. Immediately before writing this I read this article, not thinking of this question:

Which discusses depth of field of vision associated with a fixed focus point, specifically the minds ability to see and comprehend objects clearly despite optical physics, especially when extremes of the eye's ability to focus are taken into account (near and far field). This answered a question I had about what was optimal for a particular application.
Learning is an ongoing pursuit.
Curiosity informs creative ability when anchored by knowledge and logic. I feel like I have greater capacity than most to think of innovative ways to solve problems. I also have a unique ability because of my understanding and background to teach scientific concepts, which will at least be useful when I have children of my own.

Potentially: "Perseverance"
or latin equivalent "patientiam operatur" for originality
However, I highly regard the phrase "Veritas vos liberabit" which shares my faith in a way as well as speaking to the bondage and deceit that this world is full of. Particularly the way of truth which shatters this bondage, changing everything else in substance and perspective at the same time.

Favorite summer memory?

Augusts at Lake George with family in addition to going to concerts that my Aunt & Uncle played Bassoon in for the Philadelphia Orchestra at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on nightly excursions from the Lake George life.

As a christian, I don't believe in celebrating Halloween. It popularizes the occult and the forces of evil. I feel like I'm playing for the wrong team if I participate in Halloween.
Thinking of Halloween as a fall festival celebrating things like pumpkins, apple cider, hay rides, bonfires with marshmallows and smores is completely fine with me. I can even appreciate things like kids dressing up in costumes and trick-or-treating. As long as the focus is pure.

There is somethings that I think are abominable, like movies focused on horror and demonic happenings, and some haunted houses where you could easily walk away with a demon possession that you didn't have when you arrived.
To me, I want to be as separated as possible from the occult and behaviors that invite demonic possession. Not having horror films flash back in my mind when I'm sleeping is a key attribute to this.
I will quote some bible verses so you can make an informed decision for yourself:
Philippians 4:8: "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." - (A verse that is in my memory. Highly useful guidance.)
Romans 12:21: "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." - (Speaks of the concept of redeeming what is wrong for right.)
1 John 4:4: "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. " - (Christians have greater power within us than the power of the spirits of evil.)
Matthew 4:7: "Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’"" - (I think this speaks to not watching horror films), along with:
Ephesians 4:27 "do not give the devil a foothold." - (Out of context, but still a very scriptural thought!)

R u in any extended classes?

I'm studying for professional certification exams at this point. There are many certifications that I can enhance my career with.
I'm actively studying for a software developer certification at the moment. It is all self study.

why do you skip questions

I only have so much time in the day. I'm getting questions from multiple people at this point. My writings here are specifically for one person until it either definitively works out or doesn't. I realize I have fans who follow my relationship as well, and fans are a lower priority but I'll still take questions from fans.
I don't like answering questions that are to someone who has a romantic interest in me or likes me besides a very specific person. That may change, but I have a great deal invested in this specific relationship and I really want the specific relationship to work out. I have over a decade invested in this person at this point.
I've written 1000+ pages at this point in various journals that my significant other has had available to her. Sometimes questions have already been answered and I don't feel like answering them again.
Whatever the reason, realize words take time to be written. Some of these posts represent a significant portion of free time in a day, sometimes all of my free time. I like writing, but I have other things I'm trying to balance as well.
Right now I have 20+ questions in my queue.
If you read this journal and you find me attractive and you aren't my significant other, you're free to read this, but this isn't for you at this point. If you have a true interest in me and my significant other never works out, maybe consider introducing yourself in 2019. Not right now though.
Besides, I don't believe sex should be central to a relationship. Someone's mind and heart is the foremost attributes I'm going to look at. If you're the type that appreciates short hook-ups I'm definitely not for you. I'm doing this specifically to create and develop a family. Also, you must be a born again Christian for me to consider you for this role. In that regard I'm extremely rare. The person I'm seeking is extremely rare as well, and I found someone who is extremely rare that I'm actively pursuing.
If you find me attractive, If I'm not in a committed relationship sometime in 2019 be very purposeful about introducing yourself and sharing your mind and heart (over months time). Consider sharing your own writings with me so that I can evaluate you in depth.
I'm writing here to specifically find and develop a relationship into a marriage. Any relationship with me is going to be an ultra-marathon. If you don't have that mindset then find someone who is like you rather than me.

I am very interested in reading news of many different types, which I spend at least an hour a day consuming, even with a full workload. I feel staying current in all the areas I study gives me an edge. Read my linked article.
I really don't appreciate TV as I like to choose what I consume rather than having to follow someone else's script. I feel TV is too passive. I have a TV, but the only time I'll turn it on is for State of the Union addresses and major nation shaping events that signify direction of more than a month. In other words, Hurricane Michael wasn't enough for me to watch TV, although I watched some clips on Youtube that were embedded within text articles I read. The Superbowl in years past is barely enough to capture my interest, mainly for the social nature of Superbowl parties.
In terms of national news, I read DrudgeReport constantly.

Why does Yemen wanna block access to YouTube?

This is an interesting question because it falls along a hobby of mine. I don't speak Arabic, preventing original language research, but I do follow geopolitical conflicts.
Saudi Arabia, the head of the Sunni sect of Islamic thought is at war with Yemen who allies with Iran which is Shia. Saudi Arabia has western ties and can buy access to social media platforms such as Youtube that Iran doesn't have comparable access to. Therefore, Yemen shutting off the flow of information from the head of the opposite sect the Saudis would give the Yemenis government the ability to consolidate power and align the population base to reflect the leadership's objectives, against Saudi influence.
Relying on an enemy for religious instruction would lead to defeat, as the Saudi's clerics could institute fatwahs in support of the house of Saud that conflicted with key organizational strategy within the Yemenis government. Iran is a direct competition to Saudi Arabia in religious thought.

If you had to wear a mask for the rest of your life, what one would you pick?

Really though, I want to be a servant of Christ in some form or another. I think authenticity has something to be said for in that business. I would also want to be in a leadership role.
Truth is I'm not really sure right now.
As an engineer I've had a very narrow focus. Engineering is fun, but if I wanted to make an impact on the world, an engineer has such a narrow focus - a small part of a product that is lost in the soup of economics somewhere.
If I was a business person I feel like I could have a larger impact, but I wouldn't want to pick a business where management skills were a commodity and the results of the business were more or less expected.
I definitely want to raise a larger family if I have the means to support all of my kids. Maybe rolling that into Christian ministry would be a way to be active in developing kids while being active vocationally, and it would be a great example for the kids if I involved them in whatever I was doing. I think I would be great at developing a family and leading a family, especially with ministry tied into the development.
The overall goal is to be found feeding God's servants physical and spiritual food immediately prior to Christ's return to fulfill an offer Christ made.
I want to be a leader in God's kingdom. Jesus would say you must be the servant of all. I think there's something to be said for that. The puzzle is, how would I be in a position to be taking care of God's servants on the widest scale possible? I would either have to be a political leader of a major country, an enormously successful and talented business person who also had a faith focus in their line of business, or a philanthropist leader that organizes a great multitude of people to contribute to each others' good.
In terms of the end role, a chief servant would have to be very good at leadership, prioritization, strategic thinking, organizational leadership, they would have to understand true economic thinking, and communication.
I want to develop strategic leadership skills and strategic decision making, investing but maybe not in a strictly financial sense.
Maybe it would be both good and fun to manage a smaller business and start developing the management and leadership skills that I would need for a late in life role whenever Christ returns. I would want to pick a business that could expand quickly if successful.
I would never want to compromise my values in any position I had. Most people expect compromise in some way for increased success, but that defeats the whole purpose for me. So in that regards, maybe I have to pick a Christian ministry to lead.
I have a really big end idea. Getting there needs some serious thought and some serious ideas. I've always been great at strategic thinking and optimizing what I have in unique ways. Right now I don't have much to work with so it's obtuse.
