Why are women labeled aggressive/ spoiled if they demand something, are opinionated, and assertive? A man exhibiting those same qualities is *confident*. Why are women expected to sugercoat everything and come off like this docile and fragile piece?
The dichotomy of a woman. In one situation, she wants to be "treated like a lady" like waiting for a man to initiate everything, make the plans, walk to the car in a downpour to pick her up at the front door of the restaurant, to protect her from robbers. Then in another situation she is Miss Independent full of opinions. She wants to be treated like a man. Well, which is it? Where is that assertiveness where she walks to the car in the rain? Hmmm?
