The story makes Christ the person he was. But how do you imagine that being a prophet of something simple or unlikely. What do we benefit if we claim that Christ is God but he was human? The truth is, Christ Himself will not lose anything, but the one who loses is the one who claims this
According to the Gospel of John, Jesus said he was one with the "father in heaven". Paul thought that Jesus was God as well. I think Jesus was most likely a character written for a story based on tales of people who might have lived near that time. I don't think he existed as the person described, nor do I think that he, or anyone else, speaks to or for any actual gods. If you are trying to convince this atheist that Jesus was someone important to your faith as well, yeah, i get that, but that doesn't mean anything significant to me.

In a very brief summary. Our master Jesus is one of the prophets of God, whom we love as we love all the prophets. Not a god or a son of a god. Mrs. Maryam described it in the Qur’an "And his mother was a supporter of truth."
