Joining Kappa Kappa Psi—i would say going to college or joining the band, but those weren’t even options to me, if that makes sense. They were just gonna happen

Going BACK to college to get a second degree—so many things fell into place after that

Breaking up with Shaun—I’m such a different person now than I was when I was with him. And I wouldn’t be with Matt

The only one I was unsure of was leaving Shaun. We were together for 3 years. He apparently had a ring picked out. It was hard. I thought for a long time if it was the right thing to do. But now I know it was necessary

Okay, i understand that most people think weddings should be celebrating with friends and family and wanting everyone there, some people would feel excluded, it’s ultimately up to the couple.

But I also understand that kids can be extremely disruptive, kids get bored easily, some people can’t always get sitters, just more people to pay for (and they probs won’t even eat most of the meal they’re given), and adults should be allowed to enjoy themselves without their kids every now and then

So would I want to have a child-free wedding? Probably not. Do i understand why people have them? Absolutely.

•Most of the local beaches and such put on firework displays
