I'm still friends with her parents on Facebook and they just posted a video of her saying she's gonna be a big sister.
I was around when she was born. My name was one of the first she ever learned. I babysat her. I changed her diaper before her uncle (my ex) ever did. I loved that little girl. I still love that little girl. She's so big now and it makes me sad that she won't even know who I am anymore. And that is my fault.

in your middle school/junior high, were you required to take an instrument? what about at your high school?
In 4th grade we were required to play recorder. If you wanted to play violin, you started In 4th grade. In 5th and 6th grade we had to either take chorus, but band was optional.
In middle school, we had to take some kind of art (band, chorus, art)
In high school, we needed to finish with like 2 art credits (a years worth) but it didn't matter what kind.
I've volunarily been taking band since 5th grade. I still take band today, in college. Been playing flute for 17 years.
