I personally don't have DID so these are things I've heard from others
-That DID makes someone violent towards others
-That they don't know they have DID and that they aren't aware of their alters
-That it's still called Multiple Personality Disorder
And someone I work with said their psych prof told them that MPD and DID were two separate things and that with DID they were aware of their alters but with MPD they are not
