congratulations on marrying the man of your dreams! my question is: did you (and if so, how) try to build a relationship with your parents in law before you got married ?
Thank you! ☺️❤️And my answer to your question is yes, of course. I’ve been with Aiman for a little over 5 years now, so I’ve known his family for quite a while (met them for the first time in our first year, before I flew off to the States for the first time).I think I tried to get on his mum’s good side first, as people say you’d need to build a rapport with the mum first. His mum, Alhamdulillah, has been friendly and accepting. She bought me a pair of new telekung and shawls to bring to the US, brooches and stuff like that. In exchange, when I go shopping in the US, I’ll always make it a point to ask her if she wanted anything (i.e. Coach handbags, etc). Sometimes I’d just buy something for her as a surprise, whenever I buy something for my own mum. Over the summer, I also spend some time with his family (baking with his sister, bringing his grandmother out for Raya shopping, etc). I guess it’s the small little things that matter? The effort you put to get to know the family and all. I think the key is to treat them as how you treat your own parents - to always check in and talk to them, asking if they’re doing OK, listening to their stories, etc. His mum loves to share stories and all, so I go along with the flow. ☺️
Aku teringin nak ada kawan lelaki yang selalu ada dengan aku time aku susah senang. Tapi aku taknak wujud perasaan sayang lebih dari seorang kawan baik. Can i?
Of course. I have a few of those guy friends as well.
how much time do you spend online everyday? Yes including phone and pc time. What is a healthy amount of time to spend with electronics in your opinion?
I probably spend a lot more hours on the internet now as compared to when I was studying previously, mostly because (1) when I’m bored, I go on Twitter and Reddit, and (2) I use the internet to work when I’m in the office. This is an attachment of my internet usage through my laptop last week (laptop only because I don’t think RescueTime has an app for Apple, they have one on Android that I used on my old phone). There is no “healthy” amount of time that you can spend on the internet, because every person is different. Some may use the internet for learning purposes, others for work, others for self-development or self-growth. As long as you don’t spend too much time on the internet/social media until you forgo your real life and socializing with real people, that should be fine. Just be sure to keep in mind that whatever it is you see in social media or the internet, take it with a bit of salt.
Hi, world cup you team apa? Sama dgn Aiman ke hehe
Aiman tengok World Cup ke masalahnya 🤔🤔 Mamat tu mana main bola, EPL pun dia tak tengok 😂 My WC team tak masuk WC this year 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ So for this year I’m a Spaniard ☺️
Do you believe in palmistry?
Nope.
Are you a nice kid?
I don’t know, am I?
What is your opinion of love? Is it permissible for them to do what they want, or are there red lines that they shouldnt skip?
Love is to cherish, to care. Loving someone does not mean possessing them, restricting their every move or limiting their life to only pleasing you. To be in love means to cherish one another, to care for each other’s wellbeing and to work together for a better future together.Of course, when you’re together and in love, there are things to consider and take into account. While you are of your own person, there are things that you cannot do, if you are “truly in love” with them. Your actions have to reciprocate that “love” that you have - to show and prove that you do love them. This includes acting and behaving in ways that do not offend, hurt or scare each other in many ways (i.e. being dishonest, physically hurting or having an affair).
If you had an ability to look into other's past, who would be the first one on which you will use your power?
Err, I don’t think I’d want that - people’s past are something that I think is their rights and I don’t really want to know. 🤔
What is at the same time funny and sad?
My bank balance.
Salam kak syaza :) selamat hari raya! Just wondering, are you back in msia for good or?
Waalaikumsalam, selamat hari raya to you and family too! ☺️Ahaha yes I’ve been back in Malaysia since last year June, but will (most probably, insyaAllah) be heading to the UK this September for my Master’s (just for a year though), ☺️
Hmm probably around 5years or so? Maybe? I don’t mind either version. Now at least I am able to see how many followers I have (though I don’t know who they are), and that you can ask follow-up questions - which is useful.
Give me your opinion about sarahah / curious cat. Compare them with askfm. Which one out of these three do you like the most and why.
