Ya it is, it’s just a way of them saying hi kinda like when guys say hi, or when guys hug their female friends, I think it ok why wouldn’t I, I don’t hug my male friends but I do with my female ones and I don’t think girls really shake (or hug for that matter) hands with guys unless they know them wouldn’t you say
