A week? That's barely any time. Idk if you should though. I mean if you want to maintain a friendship with him, then I guess it's fine. But if you're just bored and lonely and want to try to make things work again but you know they won't work.... then just don't.

I guess it depends on who broke it off or if it was mutual or what. If you broke up with him or it was mutual then yeah, I think it's fine to text him and see how he is.

Depends. Are you trying to stop being around them? You're going to do what you want either way, but before you do, remember the good and the bad. Make sure you're honest with yourself and remember you obviously broke up for a reason. Don't fall back into the same patterns. Also, If you take the person back without consequences, you're setting up precedent or an example that they can take advantage of. You walk all over you and there's no real consequences for their actions, so please keep all those in mind before you make any rash decisions.
