Hmm. I think I'll just include shounen-ai too? I have several titles! I'll just type the titles according to mangafox so you all can find it easily. Actually for me I started with BL doujins... I don't purposely look for manga in the "yaoi" genre but I do read them, as long as they have good plot (or good art).
In no particular order:
1. Copernicus' Breath by Nakamura Asumiko
2. Hontou Yajuu by Yamamoto Kotetsuko3. Crystal Palace by Amemori Gigi
4. Yume Yume Shinjuu by Kojima Lalako
5. Kimi ga Koi ni Midareru by Takanaga Hinako (this is actually part of a trilogy but this is the one that I liked best)

What major "plot twist" moment have you had in your life?
I almost received a scholarship to Singapore before when I was 14 (my parents requested the school to cancel it because they didn't want me to go).
Then I found out that my best friend in university (who's only a year older than me) used to go to that particular school before she transferred to Beijing. We were like, "Oh my god, we could have been schoolmates even long, long time ago!"
I guess it's fate? :b

Selama membaca novel/komik atau mungkin menonton film pernah merasa punya karakter fiktif yg karakteristik nya relatable dengan diri sendiri?
Well... We change as we grow up, but I think when I was much younger, I could relate a lot to Christopher Robin because I don't have a lot of friends and I was the only child. Indonesia wasn't a safe country so my parents rarely let me go out and play with other kids, too. So all I had were toys, books... I had a puppy plushie that I loved for years, but we had to throw it away after my sister was born because she's allergic to any kind of fur.
During puberty (lah), I think I relate a lot to Holden Caulfield from Catcher in the Rye and Sirius Black from the Harry Potter series. We are all arrogant assholes, but we don't mean harm, we are just too skeptical and cynical about the world around us. And we sure enjoy having our own kind of fun even though we can fit in and mingle too.
Now as I am studying in university, I still find traces of Holden in my personality (especially my snark). But I read Perks of Being Wallflower somewhere during my first or second year in uni, and I could relate a lot to Charlie. I felt that we shared a lot of similarities growing up, and his parents are kind of similar to mine (I don't think my parents are as wise as his, though), and I could understand his world views. Even the way he describes his feelings about someone else... I swear I thought he was written based on me, but who am I anyway. Haha.
I'm not sure about comic/manga or films because usually I can relate to one or two traits of the characters but not close to entirety, so I don't really count them. Maybe I'll re-answer if I can remember. Haha.

How do you consider yourself as an "open book" person? Is it important being an "open book"?
An open book person, from what I know, are people who are predictable, easy to guess what they have in their mind. For example, one of my friends is someone who's very honest with his feelings. So if he watches a sad movie, he'll cry anyway regardless of where he is. If he feels unhappy, he'll express it even if he's around strangers. These are not necessarily bad traits. I think it's admirable when people can bare their sentiments like that. (Cause I can't. So no, I don't think that I'm an open book.)
I think anyone can be whoever they want to be, it's not a matter of importance as long as they're comfortable with who they are.

I guess it's the story about a guy who's into photography, but he never wanted to take a picture of his girlfriend. The girlfriend became jealous because she knew that the guy took beautiful pictures of his ex before (she said something about how the guy managed to capture the "love" in the ex's eyes). It became worse when she met the ex and the ex was surprised to know that the guy never took pictures of the girl. In the end when the girl confronted the guy, he told her that the reason is because he's afraid of losing her... Since his ex dumped him because he's always taking pictures (only looking at her through the lens).
I would say that that's my most favorite because that's the only one that I still remember until now. I can still see the scenes in my head. I have already forgotten the characters' names, though. 8'))

Bukan seni murni sama ilustrasi murni, tapi aku stuck di 3D sementara pengennya masuk ilustrasi murni.
Saya juga bukan pakarnya tapi mencoba menjelaskan. Kalau kurang tepat tolong dikoreksi aja langsung, bagi yang lain.
Pada dasarnya jurusan seni itu banyak macamnya. Nah, ada seni yang murni dan ada seni yang komersil.
Seni murni itu biasanya mengarah ke ide dan konsep. Misalnya ilustrasi murni, pameran lukisan, seni patung dan pahat, etc. Bisa dibilang, biasanya itu cara bagi senimannya untuk menggambarkan ide atau pemikiran mereka. Kadang ada yang mindsetnya "nggak laku juga nggak apa, yang penting aku bisa mengekpresikan ideku". Ilustrasi murni itu sebenarnya tengah-tengah juga, bisa jadi komersil kalau si senimannya bersedia menyesuaikan dengan selera pasar.
Seni komersil itu biasanya lebih ke fungsi dan praktis. Misalnya ilustrasi untuk game/animasi/film, pengembangan visual untuk game/animasi/film, 3D games and animation, komik, periklanan desain konsep, fashion, desain produk, etc. Mereka juga menggambarkan ide, tapi buat mereka itu lebih ke arah bagaimana bisa "menjual" ide/konsep itu.
Sekarang sih sudah banyak yang cross-breed. Banyak kok yang masuk animation dan bikinnya film-film yang sangat idealis, bukan komersil. Sebaliknya, banyak juga yang masuk seni patung, akhirnya malah bikin action figure yang komersil. Nggak masalah. Yang penting suka ngejalaninnya. :)
Aku merasa salah jurusan karena aku belajarnya banyak 3D di sini, padahal aku masuk industri ini karena suka menggambar. 3D itu makan waktu banyak karena lebih teknis, jadi menggambar di waktu luang pun nggak seleluasa kalau memang fokus di menggambar saja... Otomatis perkembangannya juga lebih seret.

Thank you, Resi! Even though it's only after few weeks of using Photoshop, I had 6 months of traditional drawing before that class. Digital medium is just a matter of transferring that knowledge from drawing on paper to the screen. I don't want to give the impression that it's that easy to learn, nor that I am talented. :) I'm glad you loved it.
Cutest maybe... this one? It's a character model sheet for an animated short. I did the concept and design, and then modeled the character in a 3D software (yes, this girl is animatable). I think she's the cutest work I have. But if you're referring to a "cute" style (such as chibi), I have a different one. xD

Sebuah universitas swasta untuk game. Soal negara dan nama universitasnya, saya nggak mau bilang-bilang karena belum lulus, jadi nggak nyaman. Maaf, ya. Tapi kalau nanya kuliah di mana karena mau cari universitas untuk jurusan seni murni (arah ilustrasi dan komunikasi visual), saya nggak bakal rekomendasi sekolah saya, karena jurusannya spesifik ke art untuk games and animation (ini namanya entertainment design). Saya sendiri saja merasa salah jurusan di pertengahan karena ternyata saya lebih berminat ke ilustrasi murni.

I only use perfume for formal events such as weddings and fine dining, and I rarely have any formal events here so my perfume is in Indonesia. It's Chloé Eau de Parfum.

When you feel sad, what cheers you up?
Taking selfies, cause then I'll be "forced" to smile. (Taking selfies is not the same as posting them around, lol. I actually do this a lot cause it also gives me mood boost in the morning, but I rarely share them with anyone.) Playing fun and lighthearted games such as Katamari Damacy! Read funny books such as All My Friends Are Dead. Watch hilarious shows such as the IT Crowd or Scrubs. I basically do anything that will push me to laugh. I always feel better after a good laugh. I also feel better when I'm busy cause I won't have the time to think about what makes me sad. But to me that one's more like postponing the sadness rather than dealing with it.
I also listen to super sad songs when I'm crazy sad and just cry it out until I feel relieved. Then I'll sleep on it.
I used to watch videos of Big Bang's appearances on variety shows but nowadays it makes me sadder because I miss them THAT much. :((
