Kak, what's your top 5 moments in an RPG? We share some similar names in our top RPG list, so I want to see how their stories might appeal to you :D

!! SPOILER ALERT PLEASE KINDLY SCROLL DOWN IF YOU MIND SPOILERS !!
Anyway... This becomes so long. I AM SO SORRY.
Not in particular order:
1. Drakengard 2 - Angelus and Caim
It's the moment when Angelus was finally released from her seal. Caim was a violent homicidal maniac. The events in the first game had robbed him off his humanity. But he shed tears when he saw Angelus finally free from her years of immeasurable pain caused by the seal. To see his human side towards the beast that had been with him all this time... AND THEN they were engulfed in flames and died together. It's so sad that it's unforgettable.
2. Nier Gestalt - The Wedding
When Fyra and the King finally got married, they were attacked by the wolves at the celebration. She ended up dying from profuse bleeding in her husband's arms because she protected him. This continues to him talking about how she had always had a hard life (YES... goodness gracious...) and was close to obtaining happiness... and then he asked Nier to leave because a ruler should not show his tears.
(Actually this whole game was so depressing that it's good.)
3. Final Fantasy IX - Zidane's Breakdown
When Zidane found out that he was essentially created to destroy life in Gaia so it could be taken over by Terra, he pushed his friends away, feeling that he did not deserve them. It was guilt from knowing that he would ruin their lives. But they stayed, and they felt that it's only normal for them to be there for him because he had always been there for them. It's awesome because we get to see the hero being saved, instead of doing the saving all the time. :>
4. Final Fantasy Tactics - Flowers
After Delita finally gained his throne, he was going to give Ovelia flowers, only to be stabbed by her. He stabbed her back. Delita survived (and was recorded in history as a hero) and Ovelia died, but it was at that moment when I wondered -- was Delita ever truly happy with how things turn out for him, even after he had achieved his goals? ('Success' vs Happiness explored in video games, how clever.)
5. Persona 3 - Ryoji's Request
When Ryoji asked the party to kill him. I felt that it was such a good gray and gray morality choice. If you did, you'd live happily, but life became meaningless. Plus, you had killed a friend of yours (although you wouldn't remember it). If you did not, you'd die in the end, but you knew that you had done something so great... It was a meaningful death. There is no right or wrong here, in my opinion. You'll still lose something anyway -- it's just a matter of choosing what to sacrifice.
It's really hard to do this and I'm running out of space, but thank you for asking! I was confused whether to choose awesome/heartwarming/tearjerking/touching moments. xD

Iya kak, FFT: War of the Lions itu keyen banget, si anon satu ini sukaaaaa~

ANON TUNJUKKAN DIRIMU PLIS... Biar kita bisa berpelukan. 8')
Karakter favorit anon siapa? :D

Apa 10 J-RPG favoritmu?

erdiawan’s Profile PhotoErdiawan
Mateng, pertanyaannya... 8'))
Kalau main game aku menilainya berdasarkan story, art, dan OST. Hampir nggak pernah ngeribetin gameplay, asal emang bisa ditamatin, nggak bakal protes banyak. Repetitif ya biarin (si Drakengard itu gameplaynya garing banget tapi aku tetap sukaaaa).
Diurutin berdasarkan konsol aja, bukan karena bagusnya (suruh milih sepuluh aja pusing, apalagi suruh ngurutin):
1. Legend of Mana
2. Suikoden II
3. Arc the Lad II
4. Valkyrie Profile
5. Shadow of the Colossus
6. Drakengard
7. Tales of Vesperia
8. Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
9. Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together
10. Ys I & II
Yang hampir masuk list ini adalah Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy XII, Tales of the Abyss, Persona 3, Xenogears, Xenosaga, Kingdom Hearts, Nier Gestalt, Lunar sama Earthbound, dan masih banyak lagi... (nggak habis-habis)
Sebenarnya nomer 8 sama 9 lebih ke Strategy-RPG? Tapi bolehlah ya. Influence mereka ke aku besar soalnya.
Thanks for asking!

Punya OTP gag? Kalau ada, dari fandom apa? *pertanyaan ala-ala fangirl abis* 8'>

promptmusings’s Profile PhotoPM
Sebenarnya tergantung lagi di fandom apa, tapi definisi OTP kan One True Pairing yah kalau nggak salah... Jadi kalau cuma milih satu mungkin Marceline sama Princess Bubblegum dari Adventure Time?
Hehe. XD thanks yah!

What do you think is a major social issue?

There are so many of them, but I think the most irritating is "ignorance". People easily takes in what media gave to them, without trying to research or look further into the issue. It seems that the current mentality is: "if others are sharing/thinking this way, then that's the correct one". Thing is... Back then most people agreed that the other planets revolve around the Earth instead of the Sun, but one person (Galileo Galilei) looked further and proved that they're all wrong. See what I mean?

What is one thing you will never do again?

Taking so many project opportunities, forgetting that I'm a human being with limited time and energy. I believed before that all those smaller projects will also benefit me in the future. In the end I got drained out and depressed. I was very lucky that my friends and family were supportive, but still, I learned my own limits the hard way. Never again!
(I guess we all just need to know WHICH opportunities to take, it's not about how big it is, but you must see how it can benefit your own vision and mission. It's easier said than done, trust me.)

Oh my, Final Distance is also one of my fave songs ever because its so emotional and tragic.... I only listen to that song when I feel extremely melancholic. What is your thought about the song and or the video?

Alkupra’s Profile PhotoAlkupra
Thank you for asking me this, Alex!! And you have such a refined taste!! Hahaha. (subliminally praising myself too)
Final Distance is a rearrangement of Distance... I think it originally conveys the painful longing for someone that we can't keep. From the lyrics, it sounds like the person is trying to convince his/her loved one to stay even if it goes against their principle. To me this sounds like maybe they're separated by social norms, or death, or maybe their surroundings.
However, I read before that this song was rearranged into Final Distance, which is dedicated to a schoolgirl who died in a stabbing incident. The schoolgirl wrote an essay about how she wanted to become like Utada. I think it was really touching how Utada decided to express her grief by rearranging an originally "happier" composition into a powerful ballad. I agree with you that it's tragic, cause I can feel that Utada was pouring her soul into her vocal!
May the girl rest in peace...
The video seems to lean more towards a funeral. It really is a song by Utada for the poor schoolgirl. From all the "angels", and Utada herself being dressed to look like something otherworldly -- I think they're trying to represent somewhere outside of this world. All the people from different tribes are to represent that everyone will gather at the same place, so I think that emphasizes the "otherworldly" feel. However, Kiriya (the director) tried to make everything beautiful but dreadful. I guess that suits the idea of death: it's beautiful and scary at the same time.
Then there's the "ordinarily dressed" Utada, which I think is a representation of the human side? So I guess she's trying to say that she really, really misses the "angel", but they can't be together right now... But she misses her and hopes that she's happy at the beautiful, other side of the world. In the end I think the "angelic" Utada is supposed to represent the schoolgirl.
Dang, now I'm sad...

What's your favourite lipstick colour? Which one are you wearing now?

I'm not going to show the inside because it's already dented and mashed and all that. 8') But this is my everyday shade! I only started using lipstick recently so I don't know a lot about them, but I love anything coral. :>

Is it ethical to eat meat?

Yeah. I think people should just be aware of how the meat was prepared? If the number of people dying in odd manner has increased and a charming doctor suddenly holds a dinner party, please don't eat anything with meat...

Jo, do you mind to tell a story about your internship right now? What's the best experience so far?

I'd love to! :) I think the best part is the taste of both worlds. Internship allowed me to know what working is like (my schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day and I'm paid to do this). But I'm still a student, so after this I can choose whether I want to continue working (if the very company is interested in hiring, even better!) or pursuing further education/different field. For me, it's the latter, cause I'm still young. I think once I start working for real, I won't be able to return to schooling.
I really loved my time here, even though it has only been 2 months. Mainly because the company has a very healthy working environment (drama-free, everyone is supportive and willing to teach, and the bosses have the best kind of humor). They're still strict and expects high standards, but they are willing to guide and help you along the way. :)
I have heard stories from others about their internship, in which they're only making coffees for the employees because the company felt that the interns are not ready for the real thing. But here in Bandai-Namco, they make us work on the same projects as the full-timers. And they're not even the company's "smaller" projects. It makes me feel appreciated and trusted to do my best! I'm sure anyone else would feel the same. :>
If there's anything I'd whine about, it's the language barrier. I wish my Japanese were a little better so that I could absorb the knowledge entirely, instead of filling holes. The art directors here are Japanese, and they don't speak English (except for Ikeda-san, who's known for Soul Calibur) so sometimes that gets in the way. ( ´ ~ ` )
Thank you for asking me about the internship! I enjoy sharing internship stories! :>

How long have you been drawing for?

I've only started taking it seriously when I started uni... So... since I was 17? Before then I didn't draw much because my surroundings are quite negative towards art, so I didn't feel comfortable... (That's a mistake tho. I think everyone should commit to what they want to be, regardless of their surroundings!)
