What is the best/worst part of your job? Also want to say thanks for all the laughs you've provided during your time at AH and on your own channel, you've definitely made my life better!!
Best part is the people I work with. Hands down. The worst part is that I like to say "yes" to everything, so things can get very overwhelming very fast.
If I remember right, you had some original character designs floating around way back when. Are we going to maybe see more of them, cause they were awesome!
I actually pitched the idea recently to RT, but it would just flood RT with too many superhero shows, so it was put on the backburner for now. Maybe we'll see it in a different form soon, but who knows?
Ever thought of doing streaming on the side like Spoole and Laurence?
I streaming on youtube gaming from time to time. But with the amount of work I do / amount of time I spend cooking and working out, I only have about an hour or so to just hang out every night. So I don't really want to spend that time streaming.
If you could have a role in any show that RT produces, which would you choose and what would your character be named?
I just want to voice act in something, like really bad. Whoever I am is really up to the writers, but I've always been interested in acting. Would love to see how it goes.
Is it weird moving up to the "main" AH crew and immediately being the best at video games? Do you ever intentionally lose to give the others a chance at winning?
I'm really not that good at gaming. I'm good when compared to certain people in this office, but driving and any game based on strategy I still suck at. I'll sometimes lose intentionally to keep a video going a little longer, and I've thought about losing VS intentionally to keep the rotation moving, but it feels like a real challenge at this point. I wonder how long I can go.
I love Presented with Comment. Are there any other show ideas that you have, that haven't made it to the screen yet?
Presented With Comment wasn't actually my idea. It was Geoff's. He just wanted me to host it. I haven't really put any thought into new shows. The thing I'm still fighting for is increasing the number of Hot Seat episodes we do, but pull in people like SeaNanners, Sark, the Game Grumps, Rhett & Link and other internet personalities like that.
Congrats on all your success, it's been great to watch you with the main AH crew <3 My question is what was your favorite game to do Let's Plays in last year?
Probably GTA. It's still so much fun, and we've had some incredible gametypes come out. Offense Defense, Snipers VS Stunters, and Slasher were all amazing.
How does it feel now that you have brought balance to the lad side?
Feels good. I think I compliment Michael and Gavin's style pretty well. Though we're not really the "Lads." That's still Michael, Ray, and Gavin. We're still working on a name for us.
While happy to see you using this again, are you giving up on interacting with folks on the website now? You cited using the website more when you stopped this before =(
I plan on using both. I never stopped using the website, but it just got slow. So I use it when people talk to me on there.
How has your life changed from being a "crew member" and now being a "main cast member" for AH?
I thought my life would get a little less busy... but I was very wrong. I still edit (though admittedly not as much), but then I'm constantly recording and being pulled around the company for different things. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but it's way more than I thought. Still miss the people from my old offices, but these 5 are amazing to work with.
We would stack objects on top of each other in our old gym, and then see how high we could jump off and do a front flip. I was about 10 feet in the air, and the blocks fell down when I jumped. Landed directly on my chin. Amazed I didn't break my back.
How has it been being "Ray's replacement?" (No bad blood right lol)
I was never really "Ray's replacement." That's just what the audience labeled me. My job is to bring my own jokes and my own personality to shows that were better off having six people. The people who like me are usually the ones who accepted that, while the people who don't like me are usually people who still compare me to Ray.
What editing software do you use to edit and how did you teach yourself how to use it? I'd love to learn and get good at video editing and maybe end up where you are today!
I currently use Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015. I got myself a trial at the end of high school and taught myself everything I know. I had some classes in college that helped a bit, but most of it it just from tutorials online. But working in any editing program, even Windows Movie Maker, can help a ton. It just gets you into the groove of editing.
Where did you work before working for achievement hunter?
I've worked a bunch of jobs since I was 14. Karate Instructor at Steven Nugent's Karate Institute Gymnastics Instructor for the Burlington Rec Center Brighams Ice Cream in the Burlington Mall Pottery Barn in the Burlington Mall On the Border in Woburn Macaroni Grill in Burlington Christian Party Rental in New Hampshire and finally a medical company near Boston. (Don't wanna say the name cause I still have family there)
