How much longer do you think Rooster Teeth will last? Will more people continue to leave and quit the company? Do you think Rooster Teeth will dwindle? Ir will it keep expanding it's business and hire more replacements? What is the future like, in your opinion?
I think Rooster Teeth will exist for a really really long time. Along the way, however, it's definitely going to change a lot in terms of content and employees. The company needs to adapt with the times
Love it. I say all the time that the point of my stream is for people to have fun, and talk to other people who enjoy the same things they do. It's hopefully a place where people can escape the negativity of the rest of the internet.
Are you ever afraid of coming off as abrasive and uncaring to fans?
All the time. It's really hard to remind myself not to do that, since so many people online are abrasive and uncaring towards me. Anyone who wants to know how I feel about the fans just has to go to a live event and see how interact with them. It's really hard not to smile to everyone I talk to.
I'm insanely concerned and obsessed with what other people think about me. The last thing I want are enemies, or people who think of me in a negative way.
What do you like to draw?? Could you show us some of your drawings??
I'll draw anything, but mostly I enjoy comic style superhero drawings. I've posted some on twitter and the AH site before. Nothing amazing, just stuff I do for fun
You started dating Kat when you were in high school. Did you ever have any doubts about being with her for the rest of your life?
We lived in the same town that whole time, but when she first went to college, she moved to Boston and I didn't get to see her very often. We never thought about separating, even though we barely saw each other. That was a pretty sure sign we weren't ever going to break up.
Do you ever get offended that people confuse you for Matt?
Not really. Especially because people who do that aren't real big AH fans, otherwise they wouldn't make that mistake. So I don't care if people who aren't fans don't care about me.
Do you ever get surreal moments when in the AH office and think "wow, I've made it. I'm working with AH" or something similar? If not, why do you think you don't get those moments?
I have those moments a lot. I can't predict when they happen, but it's always a nice feeling when they do
Do you feel like, as your popularity increases and you get more into AH stuff, that you will become more disconnected from the fans and community hunter over time?
I hope to never be disconnected from the community. I say to everyone I talk to at live events that my favorite part of the job is interacting with the fans. I hope that never changes. Also I still watch almost every video on community hunter
How do you cope with such a hectic day? (Working at Achievement Hunter and Rooster teeth on weekdays, streaming on your free time, answering questions here and on your AH profile, rapping and tweeting)?
The way I cope with everything is to enjoy everything that I do
