Would you ever consider streaming earlier at weekends so Europeans can watch live?
Possibly, but that eats up the whole day for me unfortunately. Streaming takes a lot out of me, so it's nice to do it at night so I can go to bed directly after.
I get a lot of people that tell me my content helped them through hard times, which I really appreciate because it's why I do what I do. But at a LPL there was one guy who kept telling me how much my song "Sometimes" helped him through a bad patch and he was extremely grateful. That was very heartwarming. The weirdest interaction was probably at RTX when two guys came up to me with a backpack and asked if I could sign what was in it. It was a dildo. That was odd.
First, get through the initial feeling by closing your eyes and taking deep breaths for a little bit. Then find some small tasks you can work on and complete. The completion and feeling of checking something off your list will help alleviate some of the stress. At least for me it does.
Do you expect to be working at Rooster Teeth for the rest of your life/ until you retire or do you plan to do something else as well?
No, I don't plan on being at Rooster Teeth for the rest of my life. And that's not me disliking my job or the people I work with or anything. Fact is, when Kat and I eventually have our own kid, it will most likely be the end of my time here. We both grew up with really big families, and were super close to our grandparents. I don't want my kid to grow up without that. So we plan on moving back to Massachusetts so the family can be together again. But that's also years and years away, so don't go getting ready to say 'bye' to me anytime soon.
Two things: 1, does RT have a policy against talking about other YT personalities in videos (I ask because it seems like some RT folks get gun-shy when talking about possible "competitors" while others don't)?
2, if not, are there any other Let's Players besides AH that you watch?
Well I've listed all the youtubers I watch before. As for the first question, no there's nothing wrong with us talking about other youtubers. Fact it, sometimes we don't talk about them because we don't want to direct traffic towards a channel that isn't ours, and other times because we are insulting with the way we talk to each other and we don't want to accidental offend someone we don't really know.
What were your thoughts when you first joined RT and started seeing fanart/fanfics of yourself? Have these emotions changed at all throughout your time there?
Fanfiction is something I still don't fully understand. Just seems odd writing stories about people who actually exist. Fanart I loved immediately and still do.
Why hasn't the Jurassic Park MC lets play continued. I though that did pretty well view wise
We didn't know where to go with it. Everyone's dinosaurs died because of the way the mod worked, and they had no interest in raising a bunch of new ones with no plan of what to do afterward
