Do I want to change something in the past? YES. Would I change something in the past? NO, I've seen to many time travelling TV shows and Movies, that teach messing with time has never ended well. The past is the past for a reason and we cant always look for an undo button everytime we make a mistake. So, I wouldn't change anything in the past, just accept the errors I made and move forward from them. I want a time machine because...

The more noble answer for me would be : Failure is nothing but knowing that you tried and basically an incentive to try again. So, its not doing something without the possibility of failing that's a gift. It's okay to fail but its important to get back up after it.
