How are graduations usually held where you live? There any specific ceremonies and celebrations afterwards? If you've graduated yourself, how'd you describe how that day was for you? 🎓
When I graduated, we all went to a hall to collect our gowns (we rented them, but there was the option to buy if you wanted to) and could get a photo taken with a fake scroll also there haha. And then once we got those, we went to a theatre venue, and waited till we got called on stage basically. I always thought the certificates would be real that was given to us, but we were just given a hand shake and walked off stage haha. Lieeesss).
Then after the ceremony, my University held a party at the main campus for any of us that wanted to go, and classes could do the whole throwing their hats in the air photo thing (theyre not called hats are they, I forget what they're called..caps? haha) But i was with older members of my family that couldn't walk too far, so we skipped that part and we went to a restaurant to celebrate instead.
