Why is STEM "more important" than the arts?
STEM moves the world forward. The arts help us live in it. Some people think progress is more important than experiences.

Why didn't the alarm on my watch go off when the one on the dresser did? (The answer was the battery was dead).

That's too tricky of a concept. I know what gas-lighting was meant to mean (deliberately working to convince someone that something they experienced was fabricated by their imagination) all the way to how it's sometimes used as just being wrong about something.
What is your favorite sad song? Mine is scars by Allison iraquea ( not sure if I spelled the name right) listen to that song if you haven't yet. It's really good!
I can't think of any sad music I listen to.

Do you think dogs are really man's best friend?
Can be, yes. Too many kids get mauled by them a year for that to be exactly true. I like them personally though, and have one.

I don't know how to qualify a celebrity, but I don't have a lot of bad interactions with people.

I'm GenX, so probably a lot of things. Almost by definition, many things I do are now "old person" things.
Are there places that you are afraid to visit? That you would never ever visit? Not even if you were paid?
I can be a bit claustrophobic, so spending time in very tight spaces can be a problem. Small caves might induce some panic in me, so I probably wouldn't elect to go there, even for substantial compensation.

I have bought them around holidays, but never received them as a gift. They are tasty, but a bit pricey.
Would you ever live in a large mansion if you were given the opportunity or no? Even if it was the spectacular, beautiful house.
Sure, maybe. Do I have to clean the place myself? What about paying for heat and A/C? Big places have big bills and I work for a non-profit.

Need based, I can't think of something I wouldn't do.

In high school it was science or math, usually. In college it was either psych or history.

I don't really have a favorite. I like fonts that look good and are easy to read on screen and in print.

I think I've heard of her, but that'd independent of being familiar with her work.

You are your own compass. You find your way based on what you want to be. If you want to be lost, look outside yourself for direction. If you want to go somewhere, check yourself for where you want to go.
Fruits or vegetables?
Those are both good. I eat fruits entirely like a snack, while vegetables are more meal-ish.
