Which intellectual things do you do with your time these days that don't involve work?
This is going to sound terrible, but probably very little! It’s partly why I bought books the other day, just so I can get back into reading again. Working on my mum’s business maybe, but of course that’s still classified as ‘work’.
Going to museums and galleries, as I’ve done that a lot more in the last few months. Listening to podcasts too that are based on history, is another thing I enjoy. Other than that, that’s probably it currently 😅

In what ways is Livi today different from Livi 5 years ago?
In some ways I feel the same, but I think I have changed, predominantly for the better (I hope!). I jest, but I never would have imagined being where I am now, five years ago.
I’m more confident in myself in regard to being able to handle situations that are stressful, having large amounts of responsibility, etc. I think it’s ultimately trusting myself, that I am capable of being able to do things that whilst they are scary, I know I can do it. This is all predominantly work related, holding down the business by myself whilst we had no manager for months, etc.
On a personal level… I’ve done a lot of healing and it’s been immensely gruelling, upsetting and challenging, but yet again, I think it has freed me in so many ways, it’s hard to articulate. This combined with the above has helped shape me into a stronger person :)

How have you been lately?
Not bad thanks! This week has been pretty heavy, with a lot of 9-11hr shifts as most of the team are away, so it’s just trying to get through that really atm! It’s just another barista and myself powering through 😮💨 Other than that, it’s all chill, thanks 🤗

Heya! I’m not sure if there’s been much since the last update, as in, the most significant thing was meeting his family and friends last month on his birthday. Things seem pretty good though! His mum followed me on insta today, out of the blue 😆 But yeah, all seems dandy though, thanks for asking 🤗
