I like villains who make sense, there's a reason for them to become what they do that's not just "I'm evil init". Take doc ock. Trying to do a good thing but takes risks, tragedy strikes and he loses his way. The vulture(mcu) gets screwed by the gov and decides to take back what he believes is rightly his so he can provide for his family. Even Loki, stolen at birth, lied to about his identity, told he is meant for a throne but then shoved into the golden brothers shadow and kind of discarded, emotionally messed up, feels like he needs to prove his worth over his brother, he becomes unhinged because he is desperately trying to prove that he isn't Thors lesser, that he has value too. These are far more human and compelling than "evil guy is evil"
