We start to question which faith is the right one to have or if any of these are actually true... In short, my questions are: 1. How do logic and faith Play apart in religion. 2. How do I know my “faith” is the correct one. Jazakallah! 3/

Rationality and faith go hand-in-hand. There is no black and white way of putting this. It's more like a continuum. The end goal for all is salvation: Being close to God. And Islam says that Allah will reward EFFORT. If we make the effort, He will guide us to the right path.
So, of course, blind faith is not being encouraged here. What is encouraged is effort and striving. Whoever strives, he is granted. You ask about logic... it's not about that as much as the individual making his efforts.
But even if that were not the case, and we took logic alone. That's the only thing anyways that our brains can judge. It's not easy to judge faith - at least objectively. So, in terms of logic and rationality alone, even in these terms, Islam comes out on top. No other religion can provide an explanation of our world and a description of God Almighty that is MORE logical than Islam. Islam has the most logical description. You might say that this is a claim. But it is testable.
And that also partly answers your second question. Your faith in Islam is the correct one because it is the most logical. Even more logical than having no faith at all. Other than that, if you are an Ahmadi Muslim, your faith is also one where God is actively intervening in the world. The Ahmadiyya Muslim perspective and understanding is that God actively participates in the affairs of the world and He has actively aided our community up to this point. How has he done this? I recommend that you study the life of the Promised Messiah (as), starting with the list of SIGNS he discusses in his book, Haqiqatul Wahi.

Yet we see people arguing over religion and debating which one is logically correct. So my question is, where does the faith come in and where does the logic come in? If I was born in a Christian household I would have “faith” that my religion is true. But if we take a step back, 2/

Continued.

Genuine question. Why is it that most decisions we make in life has some sort of logic and reasoning behind it. Whether it’s the field we choose to go into at school, what we eat etc but all of a sudden when it comes to religion we are expected or told to have “faith” 1/

is deer meat haraam?

Meat of carnivorous animals is haram. Not herbivores. And a deer is a herbivore.

So say we’re praying for someone who’s sick, and god plans for them to pass away. Could it be that he sees how hard we are praying/submitting to him that he decides to make them live, or at least delay their death? I’m curious to know what our prayers mean in this situation.

There are two types of Taqdeer. One is taqdeer-e-mubram which is definitive and absolute, and cannot be changed. The other kind of taqdeer can change with prayers. The Promised Messiah (as) has talked about this in his books.
+1 answer in: “Aoa. Some say praying is a paradox since God is omniscient and the actual outcome (that God has already planned to happen) is unaffected by the prayer. Does it say anywhere in Quran/Hadith etc. that God can “change his mind” if we ask for something that’s not in his plan? Jzk”

I also wanted to ask your opinion on Sohail’s (ex Ahmadi) views about Islam.

I have written several articles in response to him on alislam.org. They pretty much refute much of his criticisms. He has not yet responded to any of them in a concrete way.

do you how long khalifa rabay's q&a sessions were? Did they ever go up to more than 5 hours?

1-2 hours, I think. I don't think they ever lasted that long. I'm referring to recorded sessions. However, I have heard that in some remote parts of Pakistan, some such sittings may have lasted longer. This is before the laws that banned preaching.

can we be religious without community? can we be ahmadi without being part of the jamaat?

You can be religious and consider yourself Ahmadi. These labels are not copyright nor have we ever tried to project them that way. Being part of the Jama'at is nevertheless important. Why? because we have a Khalifa at the head of the Jama'at, and we are in constant need of his guidance on a variety of issues. Having a Khalifa to listen to, especially through weekly Friday sermons, is a great way to increase our knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of faith. Without a Khalifa, we would be lost and we would not be able to benefit from his prayers, guidance, and knowledge that he gains from having access to the whole world.

Why must women do all the cleaning, cooking and laundry? I'm having a hard time accepting these roles for myself. Please help I want to be a good wife and all that but there seems to be a conflict in my head...

The Holy Prophet (sa) used to do household chores. I help my wife with the cleaning, and iron my clothes myself. I prepare my own breakfast and help with the kids. Both husband and wife should divide up these chores among themselves.

Is my mom's cousin's kids someone whom I should be observing purdah from? or is that considered mehram?

They are not mehram, but purdah has its stages. A level of purdah is even required between a daughter and her father. Second level for near relatives. Third level for distant relatives. Fourth level for remotely known relatives. Fifth level for husbands of friends. Sixth level for strangers. Seventh level for complete strangers.
This explanation is by way of example. I hope you understood what I'm trying to say. If the kids are very young, a high level of purdah is not required. Also if the family is close to you and your family, it doesn't need to be too strict.

where is the data to support the number of converts to ahmadiyyat? i dont believe the jamaat has tens of millions of followers. how can this be proved?

What kind of data are you looking for? If you are looking for a list of every single Ahmadi in the world, I can tell you now that no such list exists. That is why we say "10s of millions" because it's a broad estimate, not a precise number.
What you should be looking for is large numbers of Ahmadis in every part of the world. So that you can be satisfied with the estimate itself. And this is provable. You are welcome to visit countries where we know and announce large numbers of Ahmadis: UK, Germany, Canada, etc.
You are then welcome to visit those countries where we specifically announce an increase in the number of Ahmadis: Ghana, Gambia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Niger, etc.
I can tell you that if you do this, you will find the Ahmadis you are looking for. But if you are looking for a "database" where I can pull out a list running into the millions, such a list doesn't exist. And I hope that you are not talking about this kind of list?

if our lives are written out for us and Allah knows this, then why do we have to put in work if it's bound to happen anyways?

Lives are not written out for us. This is a misunderstanding. Allah KNOWS but his knowledge does not mean that He is FORCING us to act in any way. Knowledge does not mean that we are compelled. There is a subtle difference between the two.

I’ve recently come to know about an ex-Ahmadi - Nabeel Qureshi, died in 2017. How will you refute his claims that Islam is not a peaceful religion? And the fact that he became quite visible in doing so.

Lavender
I met Nabeel before he passed away. I also communicated with him extensively online.
I have written a response to Nabeel's allegations and it is available here:
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07JYP4QP1/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_gyS8EbPQAK96E
Same book can be purchased from amazon websites of different countries, in case you are not from Canada.

Assalamo alaikum Murabbi sahib Can you recommend reading material for expecting parents? I only know of the book Way of the Seekers. But are there other Jama'at books which deal specifically with children's upbringing/tarbiyat? Jazakumullah

Wa Alaikum As-Salam! You can go to alislam.org and type in parenting and see what resources may be available. There are some Khutbaat where Huzoor (May Allah be his helper!) talks about proper upbringing of children. You can search for those too using the search feature on alislam.org and let me know if you need further help.

AoA, Murabbi sb, Could you please tell us how can one stop having wet dreams? Before sleeping i pray alot of duas and then i sleep and even pray to Allah to make it not happen but it still happens, Could you tell me how to make it not happen?

Wa Alaikum As-Salam! If you are in the age where this is normal, then there is nothing you can do about it. It's a natural part of growing up. Just make sure you take a shower when you get up and wear clean clothes. Proper hygiene and cleanliness should be your concern not the dream itself.

Assalamoaliykum, How can we become alot stronger in our faith? How can we stay consistent and make good habits to be permanent?

Wa Alaikum As-Salam! I'm reading a book on habits these days and it has some interesting suggestions, like: Make it easy, make it obvious, make it satisfying.
For instance, if you want to read books of the Promised Messiah (as), instead of trying to read a full book in one day, decide to read 3 pages every day. Reading 3 pages is not even going to take 5 minutes hence it's easy. Similarly, you can put the book on your pillow (or any other convenient location) where it's obvious. When you go to bed, the book will be on your pillow, hence, obvious, and you will be urged to read it before going to bed. These kinds of simple techniques can help build your habits. Insha' Allah!
For faith, reading prayers daily, offering Nawafil, reading the Quran, reading the books of the Promised Messiah (as), spending time with good friends, going to the Mosque (as they are opening now), are some good things you can do.

what is jamaat's stance/action to george floyd's death? Are we running a campaign or anything?

If you wish to express support for actions like police reform or other changes that combat racism, you can do it if you like.

Do we still have to give jalsa salana chanda even though jalsa is cancelled this year?

Yes, it is obligatory. The Jama'at will use the surplus funds where necessary and this will be discussed publicly in Majlis-e-Shura. Due to the pandemic, some of the expenses for Jalsa next year will increase. We can only speculate but increased supplies of hand sanitizers, increased social distancing measures, gloves, other sorts of equipments, etc. may need to be purchased for next year's Jalsa. So, the savings right now will be used up later.

What should one do if they find that they are feeling envy and jealousy towards someone that was blessed with an opportunity to serve the jamaat?

It the jealousy propels them to put their head down and work harder, then it's a good kind of jealousy.
If the jealousy is tempting them to think ill of the other person or "pull their leg", then they should do Istighfar. Lots of Istighfar, and try to rid themselves of the negative feeling.
Instead, they should keep working hard and praying to Allah to grant them opportunities and Insha Allah in due time, they will have their opportunity; they just need to be patient.
