literally nobody that I am close to is normal. we're all different and unique and slightly insane in our own ways!
some people that I truly respect will stop at nothing to achieve what they want. sure, outsiders perceive them as weird or unstable, but whatever judgement they pass on my friends are ignored. at the end of the day, they are successful, and wonderful, and their weirdness or "creepiness" as you say, is just another characteristic.
I have taught students with brain development problems and autism. they may be physically older than me, but, they excel is so many other ways. one of my students, she is SO eager to learn, and she picked up pottery so fast, and with such zeal, passion and enthusiasm. I'd rather teach people like her, over lazy students who can't be bothered to better their future.
