When I was 6 in class,I used to ask a lot of questions.... One day,I asked my English Teacher,"Why do we ignore some letters in pronunciation eg. the letter H....in Hour, Honour...etc? My English Teacher said, "We are not ignoring them; they're considered silent...." I was even more confused...? -c-

English is stupid not gonna lie. There are many rules and they're often broken because English is a Frankenstein's monster of language. I like big words and stuff but I will own up that this language is incredibly flawed when it comes to the written and spoken forms colliding.
