I can't really recall anything in particular at the moment, but if I had to say what made them stand out; it was how immersive the world was, the believability of the characters and how the it makes you want to know more and more as the story progresses.

As for the short ponytail... I had that cut a few times.
My hair got too long but I was too busy to cut it properly, so I just tied it up.
Having long hair is good for the cold, but it gets itchy and bothersome if you don't maintain it properly.

I have been told that I too dense to fall in love... but I mainly just never think about it.
I am usually more concerned about surviving on a daily basis and stuff... or I was at least. I can relax a bit more in the caves until the next time I have to go out again.

Have a cup of tea or milk and maybe a quick snack, while I watch the smallhorns play around or just hear them in the background as I read something.
Sometimes I even laze around in my hammock with them when they get tired and enjoy those calm and silent moments.
...also, now that assistanthorn is here, I may make a reclining chair or a rocking chair for her, or just get one on my next supply trip.

Bandanahorns like to decorate the cakes because they can sneak a bite or two when "nobody is watching".
Hoodiehorn likes to be fed. Likes to nap a lot ( only if is inside my drawer) and likes to stay clean. She will cry if her hoodie or her "safety blanket" gets dirty. Some days her hoodie and her blanket swap roles.
