Because they want to hide their true self and not showing it to anyone so they lie
and also because they are probably a shame from something they did in their life`s
and also because they are too afraid to open up their hearts to anyone that might hurt them in any way
But if you lied once you will lie again and again and again ETC
Even if its not a very good reason to lie about
you will found yourself telling excuses for lying !
