It was to claim back money for my dental treatment which was unsuccessful and I find that really stupid. I'm a full time student (i have to pay for my course equipment off of MY OWN money!!!) with no income other than my parents and the money in my bank account is from birthdays, my college bursary fund last year and Christmas (which I listed in the application) and they rejected my claim my bill was more expensive than my grampas dental bill and he got more done than me! So I'm really disappointed that they've not even considered but they've looked at other sources of money I am and have been saving up! My dentist isn't even nice, I don't like him and he's a bit careless with me I end up leaving in more pain that I should- one of the injections he gave me I reacted to and my face became swollen so yeah I'm avoiding the dentist as much as I can. I'm more anxious about going to the dentist than I am going to the doctors!

As in terms of a relationship or friendship?

In a relationship: I have in the past given too many second chances and wasted a lot of my time on people who weren't worth the bother, I did try to plead my case that I could make a good girlfriend but no one ever let me try. I look back and see the reasons why that is but it's taught me to hold back a bit instead of trying to hold on. Although in saying that in my current relationship I would plead and try my very hardest to resolve any issues because potentially I can see this lasting so much longer as we grow and create memories!

In a friendship: I do value my friendships with people but if there are situations I'm put in, forced opinions, bitchiness, gossiping or disrespect I lose interest in the friendship. I've matured and I'm quite happy with the way I do certain things and I'm not comfortable being forced or pushed into situations that don't involve me or that end up leaving me feeling like I can't trust people! Some of my past friendships were left quite bitter and its left me always feeling awkward but I'm more comfortable now not being involved in others dramas, alcoholic bitchiness, pressure and feeling like an option and that the friendship doesn't and didn't feel true or real! That's when I draw the line and try to lose contact, I've had so much crap of other people's business over the years with friends, which had nothing to do with me yet I was somehow dragged in by others and it really got to me more than I let on. I do however feel bad that things have been left in such an awkward and bitter manner but if I was to truly say how I feel and felt about the situations it would probably be a whole lot worse. I do value the friendships I do have and the new friends I've gotten to know and make. I tend to like people more for who they are and how they come across not how they look or their social status.

I do believe there won't be a true balance between humans and animals because of how the food chain works. Also you've got to remember certain animals destroy crops, vegetation and wildlife which can benefit us humans, as selfish as it sounds its true. I don't think we can save every animal on the planet but we can do our best to save the vast majority of species of animals! I did my project last year about horns and I started to look at hunting for horns which brought up some really disturbing and upsetting images of tortured animals (in particular I had seen so many tortured rhinos) and it made me feel sick to think that people will so anything to get their hands on money whether it involves killing or torturing a poor animal for their skin, horns, tusks, heads etc its horrible! I found a page on how there were people trying to support the rhinos and were cutting off the part of the horns so they couldn't be sold on, especially since a lot of poachers and hunters don't actually know where the horn starts and ends. They cut off the horn and don't realise what they're also doing is cutting the bone within the horn too and also slice the skin off so they take more than what's actually needed and this is just a horrible way to treat any other being! I was a bit skeptical when I read about some supporters injecting the horn with poison to pass onto the hunters but apparently what they do is inject the horn that's not near the skin so it doesn't poison the rhinos! To be honest I think sometimes maybe the animals would be safer in captivity in the right conditions and being encourage to still live like how they would in the wild! Take Monkey World in Dorset for example they save, rescue and nurture different species of monkeys, all shapes and sizes to protect them and let them live their life free of poor conditions, health problems, being looked after incorrectly and they get to live a better life with others of their own kind but can acknowledge other types of monkeys around them and they're not a victim of the pet trade or anything like that! Maybe we should take that into consideration, that they might be safer in a well looked after environment where they are well provided and cared for!?
