It is hard maintaining a relationship for many years, both of you have to let go of being egoistic or in another words, don't be so defensive. Try to go for a short trip or short getaway to mend each other differences, or maybe have a heart to heart talk with each other.

Try to take go for a run or a walk. If I am you i would just go to a place less crowded and chill cos crowds do give me pressure too

If you do good things people appreciate once but if you do wrong people will remember it for your life. Why?
Becuz people tend to take kindness for granted cos you are not hurting them or doing things that are disadvantage to them so they wont give a damn about you. When you offend them, they will start to rmb you and take revenge or on a defensive mode to protect their own interest.
