Why do i get rude responses from people

This is why I stopped asking questions for a while. I'd ask a perfectly innocent question, and some people would reply either telling me to f*ck off, or by insulting my appearance. Try not to take it personally. These people must just have very sad lives, so it makes them feel better to take their anger out on strangers on the internet. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Why is it that whenever I ask meaningful, thought-provoking questions on here, people almost never answer? Are people here afraid to use their brains?

Sorry for the late reply. I'm not sure. I know that some people use this app just to kill a bit of time and they don't take it very seriously, so they'll only want to answer simple and more chilled out questions. It depends what you mean by meaningful, thought-provoking questions, though. Not everyone might agree that they are. They could also be personal questions, which people might not feel comfortable answering. I don't know, there could be a number of reasons. If I'm honest, I've felt a little disappointed sometimes when asking an open ended question I thought was pretty good, and some people just reply with a one word answer or "idk". However, you have to understand that someone can choose to answer a question however they like on their own account. It might suck that you've tried to come up with a decent question and not got much in return, but there are people out there willing to give detailed answers! Just focus on them. 🙂

No. When I was younger, my sister made me feel self conscious because I was so pale, so I used to apply fake tan. I was about eighteen. I don't use it anymore, I've learned to accept myself in my own skin.

Both my grandfathers died before I was even born, and I didn't get along with my grandma on my dad's side. My mum gave me one of my Nan's old rings but it wasn't really me. I appreciated the offer, but I thought it was better that my mum kept it. 🙂

Um, a little. They kind of included me, but one of my boyfriend's friends made a comment about all the lads being back together if I wasn't there... Just made me feel a bit out of place and like I wasn't welcome. But his other friends spoke to me, so it wasn't all bad. I don't even know, at the moment. 😂. It's like a whiteish blonde. It was silvery grey, but it's faded a lot. I'm going to dye my hair orange next week, though! I'm so excited as I've wanted it that colour for ages. I just hope it works!

Hey, how're you? My weekend was okay, thanks. I went out on Friday night, but it was mostly with my boyfriend and his friends so I felt out of place and a little bored, really. I didn't do much on Saturday and Sunday, just chilled out, watched some TV and walked my dog as always. I hope you had a nice weekend. 💫

I think it's just the same as it's always been, to be honest. More and more people are deactivating and quitting the app which sucks, but I can't say I blame them. I still enjoy using Ask, though, apart from some of the anons I get. It sometimes makes me wonder what I'm still doing here, but the decent people on here make it worthwhile.
