how long does it take for you to get ready in the morning like all your makeup and hair?
it depends where im going! if im going to troys then 5-10 minutes for foundation, mascara, eyeliner, eyebrows and liptint/gloss as well as drying and tying up my hair.
if im going out out like to town and im wearing Lolita then it can easily be 2 hours including accessorizing :D

Why do people do it and why is it addicting
People may do it due to going through hard experiences when they were young or as a young adult. they probably had no one they could confide in, so didn't receive the support they needed to deal with it. The experience may have been due to physical violence, emotional abuse, or sexual abuse. they might have been neglected, been bullied, harassed, assaulted, isolated, made homeless, sent into care, into hospital or to other institutions etc. self-harm can be about trying to stay alive, more of a coping mechanism for survival, and to escape from emotional pain rather than a suicide attempt. more simple ideas could be to express feelings people can’t put into words, releasing the pain and tension felt inside, help to feel in control, relieving guilt and used as a punishment, making someone feel alive, or simply feel something, instead of feeling numb.
someone may harm once or twice during a difficult time in their life, and never do so again. but self-harming can become a continuous way of coping with current problems and may occur regularly. it's quite addictive due to the trigger, it could be a reminder of the past which sets off a hidden memory, or something unexpected could happen to cause a shake-up. but sometimes, ordinary life is just so difficult that self-harm is the only way to cope with it.
