You'll be fine Amy, honest. You're an intelligent and interesting girl, and someone great is gonna come along in the future who loves you inside and out, share your interests, and support you no matter what. (Y)

Im fine now tbh! I don't need a relationship to be happy and feel loved, I have family and friends for that!

how r u gunna be a mental health nurse while you need help yourself?? no offence but the last person id want taking care of me was somoene who was unwell themselves and probably doing it for selfish reasons

considering im doing various courses and sessions for help...im stable, i havent self harmed in like a month, no suicidal thoughts, barely even been down, just need to calm my temper and have rational thinking strategies.
im not going into mental health nursing for selfish reasons, you obviously dont know me at all. ive grown up around and with mental health, i want to dedicate my life helping others and make them realise things get better, there are ways to cope with mental health, and im pretty sure by the time i'm 26 i'll have my issues under control.
how DARE you say i'm doing it for selfish reasons. i want to remove the stigma that comes with mental health, self harm, suicide. i want to change the way the wards run. do you know who's doing it for selfish reasons? a current nurse, she was assigned a patient for 1-1 obs and when asked ''wheres the patient'' she said ''i dunno'' and carried on reading her book! it's people like that that are only doing it for a title and the money. i dont give a shit about the money, as i spoke to one of my mums nurses yesterday i said ''frick i dont even care if it's £10 a week'' considering i am starting volunteer work in september for Rethink, how am i selfish? oh and by the way, to work there, you can be with the service as long as youve been well for 6 months, they deem me perfectly healthy to work there ;)

are you ready for new guys yet?

Yea but no?? Idek if that makes sense.
Like I feel like I'm ready to move on but I know I'm not. Im also not looking for anything and dont particularly want any moves to be made although im kinda flirting with two people but they live like a gazillion miles away and we've always flirted so nothing will come from it ygm?

Are your ones expensive? My friend has recently bought 2 wigs from ebay and they were like £5- your the only person i know of that wears wigs so i thought i would ask you

My wigs have ranged from 0.99 (my long straight red wig I wear for halloween) to like £50. The next on im saving for is £180 haha

Are your wigs 'real-hair' wigs or are they that weird plastic material that lets you straighten and curl it?

They're kind of like remy hair which is like fake but you can curl and straighten it, I only use low heat, even on normal plastic haha

Thank you! I may go, but I've just changed GPs so I don't know them at all! Would you be able to say what sort of question they may ask? Sorry if I'm bothering you!!x

They just ask for how you're feeling and I described it down to a T
"how often do you have those thoughts"
"have you acted upon them"
"when did you last self harm"
"when did you last heard them" etc etc etc

Hiya, I was thinking of going to my GP about my mental health (depression) but I doubt I will because I'm really nervous! I was just wondering what happens when you go? Are they nice, what do they say and ask you? Thank ^v^

Depends on your relationship with your gp! My old one I've known since I moved to Plymouth, so he was supportive and just referred me straight away to camhs and got me an appointment the week after, my new gp is a bit...mean. Idk, hes meant to be a specialist but just kinda "uh huh"d everything I said and referred me to icebreak and 3 months later still no word from them...
As I'm under 18 and still haven't had an assessment for my mental health he wants meds to be a last resort.
So it kinda varies.

how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

A woodchuck would chuck so much wood he wouldn't know how much wood he chucked.
