Part 2 - If that is the case, and new shows aren't available due to covid delays, why not get something you never aired from the past few years or older. Even if it's not new, it might be new to a lot of viewers. Unless you still had the rights to Mob Psycho 100?
We still had the rights to Mob Psycho 100. Our budget has been cut (understandably) due to financial losses resulting from Coronavirus. Nothing cheaper than free!

Do you have something against airing isekai (transported/trapped in another world) anime on Toonami other than SAO? There have been at least a handful of them that are great shows with plenty of action.

Given your preference for a shorter and leaner Toonami that's closer to 3 hours. What was the line of thinking that lead to Toonami airing 5 hours of premiere episodes for a while in 2019? That was quite generous IMO and I'm still surprised you guys pulled that off.
That was just a confluence of a lot of opportunities to get shows coming our way at the same time. To a large degree, scheduling is sort of like directing a river. Sometimes you just have more shows available than you planned for, and sometimes, you can make room and spend the money to have them. And often to make up for that, you have to contract the schedule later to save some time and money for the next time the river starts overflowing!

Not by us, sorry. We don’t have the staff or time to be able to uprez all of our old work. Luckily, there are a bunch of great fans out there remaking a lot of them in HD.

Regardless of the wrongdoings that led to Trump getting impeached, doesn't the impeachment itself give off the implication that the Democrats aren't confident in their Presidential candidate winning this year's election and that impeaching Trump is guaranteed in keeping him out of office?
No, it gives the “implication” that our current president broke several laws and should be held accountable. Because he did and he should.

Do you think there's still a need for anime to be present on linear children's television blocks/stations, or do you think that kids are better off discovering anime online?
I still think, and luckily so do a lot of others, that linear is a very good place to discover anime. We make new fans every day. There’s no question that streaming is a better way for someone to dive deeper, though.

I used to listen to Toonami Pre-Flight on Apple Podcasts, but the last time the show was uploaded there was Oct 4. I know I can catch the show on adult swim’s website, but I preferred to listen on Apple Podcasts during my morning commute to work. Can you get Preflight back on Apple podcastsplease?

I have noticed people on Facebook are whining about Food Wars on Toonami. Honestly I enjoy it. Will there be more shows that non-action in the future.
I think we will remain mostly an action block but I do think you’ll see more non-action titles moving forward.
