I've actually thought about this question off and on all my life.
And I've come to the conclusion… That alas… it's this very one that I'm very happy to exist in.
Living my life totally blind… Is not particularly difficult… given the technology that has evolved with me each day.
For the most part… The only true inconvenience… Is the one put there by other people who don't know that they don't know.
200 years ago? I may have been known as the best basket weaver in town. :)
But I would've been looked upon as spastic or retarded by other people.
That is not to say… I'd love to go back 100or so years back.
Just for the chance to do some space-time continuum meddling! :-)
In all honesty I’d decline. Enough movies/stories have shown the consequences of meddling with time travel. Not only that but life was hardly better to live in at any point years ago (wars, diseases etc). Maybe if it’s the future there’d be maybe some there that it could offer that present day doesn’t, but nothing is gained from the past
