I usually do my best . . . . .
~ there have been times I have hesitated . . . . in uncertainty . These haunt me .
(God I trust you refer to real-life?)
~ my last failure ~
A dodgy looking guy asked me for a tenner for a bus to go visit his mother in hospital .
I had no actual cash (but could have gone to atm)
It was ten minutes to ten PM , supermarket's licence end . . . .
I knew there were no more buses there , & a taxi would have cost £70-£100 one way . . . .
If he had turned up at hospital as a visitor @ 11pm+ , he would have ended up getting arrested . . .
~ however , I circled back 10 minutes later , resolved to offer him a lift there , even thought I could have stopped him 'getting arrested ~
But he was gone .
On balance , I just couldn't get the confidant feel as to whether there WAS a 'mother in hospital' (there was a complex story of loss & anguish)
~ all in all , I always do my utmost . . . . with rational ~
~ so , there's an answer of sorts .

But persistently.
And not through choice of limitation
*LIFE-LONG-EXERCISE*
Stage 1 ~ 'held back'
S2 ~ (from age 11 ) ~ highly physical
S3 ~ (from age 17) ~ extreme physical work !
S4 ~ (from age 22) ~ cycled 26 miles every day + extreme hill running , moorland yomping . . .
S5 ~ (from age 24) ~ ran 6 - 10 miles every day
S6 ~ (from age 27) ~ still doing a lot of o/d pursuits , hill climbing . . . . . but started to get a little fat . . . .
S7 . . . . . down hill all the way . . . but , never give up ~

What was the longest car ride you’ve ever taken?share that beautiful story or experience

Without stopping , for neither pee nor petrol . . . Taunton to Hawick in the Scottish Borders ; 362.3 miles & did it in 3 hrs , 58 minutes .
It was 'Hogmanay' 1992 ; 3 kids age 3.5, 4.5, & 6.5 & their ma .
Fuelled & peed at 'Safeway' Taunton , r-a-b on M5 ; caught 'Thresher' wine shop in Hawick for 'New-Year-Bottles' ~ it closes at 10pm by Law !!
In 1985 drove 25ft , 7-tonne box truck + trailer with my car on, d.i.y. home removal ; Bexhill (on south coast) to Aberdeen-Scotland ~ 616.6 miles ~ longest ever nonstop drive ~ B.C. (before children!) ~ think it took 12 hours +/-
Remember , this is the UK.

~ basically how I felt . . . . certainly at the time. . . .
~ I apologise , if I was brutal ; I trust you know I would not allow brutality towards a young person such as yourself .
~ But , in truth , this site has no protection . . . . it really is quite vile @ administrative level .
