I read in a Hadith that when a man is considering to shorten his beard, he should ask his wife first. What's the reason behind this? Does this go the other way around as well, since the beard is not physically attractive to some women?
There is no such hadeeth, and no, marital rulings are not reciprocal.
I read that due to the hardship it would cause, a woman does not have to check whether her "time of the month" is finished right before going to bed. Is this true and if it is, what if she's very tired but needs to use the washroom and when she does go to use it, sees that her time of month is done?
A woman is required to check whether her period is over, at the beginning of every prayer time, and at a time before the end of each prayer time, such that it is sufficient for her to wash and pray if she found that her period is over.
If she sleeps at night, she checks before going to sleep, but she does not have to wake up before Fajr to check.
If her period ends before sunset, albeit a minute, she has to pray Dhuhr and Asr of that day. If it ends before Fajr, albeit a minute, she has to pray Maghreb and Isha.

هي من سنن الفطرة، يستحب إعفاؤها وتوفيرها وإرخاؤها دوما، ويسن خضبها للشائب بغير السواد، وتمشيطها ودهنها غبا (يعني بين يوم ويوم)، ويجوز تهذيبها والأخذ مما فحش منها أو زاد عن القبضة، ولو في غير حج وعمرة، ويكره تقصيرها دون القبضة، ويكره مسها أثناء الصلاة - لأنه يفضي إلى اللعب بها والانشغال عن الصلاة، ويحرم حلقها وأخذ الشيب منها.

Part 1- About Istikhara. You have two options. You know from your perspective that A is safer for your seen although B is also seeking Allah's pleasure but their are questions about it. When I do Istikhara I keep getting pulled to B then I brainwash myself to say yes that's it now trust in All
Didn't get part II. But generally speaking, istikhara is only valid in equally permissible matters.
You can't pray for "should I do Hajj or go to Vegas" obviously, because Hajj is always better.
If one is evidently has more rewards and both are possible then go with the one that draws you nearer to Allah.

I'm in love with an afghan girl. We're from the same ethnic background but due to the border (I'm pak) we speak different languages. I want to learn her language to propose to her (her parents won't accept me otherwise), is it wrong to learn another language before arabic? I feel so bad about it :(

Im also a different asker. I live in sweden and today/yesterday our maghrib was 21:22 and fajr 02:16. Maybe i am counting wrong but it seems to me that the time to pray isha ends before isha even begins? Our isha was at 23:18. I read that isha ends after half the night, not one third. Is this wrong?
Locations above 48° to 66° have a boundary equation to measure their Isha time, as per the Fiqh consortium ruling. You pray with the people. If they combine prayers, you're allowed to combine with them, as long as it doesn't become the standard form of prayer, because it was legislated as a temporary exception.
