Winning a bunch of ash seems like a dreadful prize
How did people survive in Europe by the way though back in the day in winter (with winter lasting so long) with so much snow? You know, like before the industrial revolution?
They built rudimentary shelters out if whatever materials they had. One type was a stone structure with a thatched roof. They would use fire to stave off the cold. I think mud/clay was also used as construction material.
Does anyone else agree that when you're in love & love somebody that there's no limit s to how any times you tell them? Like you just cannot say it enough. I could her those words all day & night everyday for the rest of my life and never get tired of it. I love my special angel so much. 💕💕💕💕
Have you ever received an "old person" gift? How did you like it? I was just gifted a set of Chirp wheels and a foot massager, and I hate to admit it, but they feel AHMAAAZING ☺️
Had to look up chirp wheels. Looks like some carnival attraction. “Roll the chirpie, don’t fall off, win a stuffed dinosaur!”I’ve received a tie. Blech. Nobody should ever give that to someone they actually like.
Current artist you’re vibing with and favorite song?
Wait, why does every girl I like have a boyfriend? Am I destined to go through life alone Neo? Or have I not just been brave enough in asking them out? Or maybe I just like being alone… Maybe that’s my preference.
On day 3 of Panera, I asked about the soufflé supply. Apparently, it is only a breakfast item with a limited shelf life. On day 4, I went there earlier (about 9 a.m.) and the soufflés were available. The spinach and artichoke was quite good especially considering it is a fast-food bakery place.
Neo says he wants us to expand in 2022 but I don’t know. I feel we’re better as a small but close knit group. Don’t you agree? Exclusivity is what makes us special!
@FreffsterI carved out time to take the 1951 to the range. Also rented a Springfield 1911 EMP 9mm. I had the Winchester white box ammo and was required to buy their ammo for the rental. I have never experienced so many problems with pistols in my life. Not one full mag went through unaffected. First, the shell extractor on the 1951 decided it was not going to do anything. A full empty case was left seated fully in the pipe. At best, maybe a few rounds would run through. Still problems with partial extractions. I put some range ammo through and it seemed to work better. Now, the 1911. It went bang for a couple rounds. Then when I pulled the trigger, the hammer fell to a “click.” WHAT? Hangfire? Keeping it pointed downrange, I rotated it to see the port and pulled back the slide. A round flung out past the firing line. Chambered a new round and another click. This time, rotated to dump the “problem” into a plastic bin they gave me to carry the rental. A full round came out. Upon inspection, there was a strike ON THE PRIMER. I put this round into the 1951 and BANG!I put a few rounds of my ammo in the rental (shhh…don’t tell) and it ran a bit better. No light strikes. When I left, I showed them a round with a strike on the primer. I’m going to attribute all of these woes to “pandemic” quality ammo. I had considered renting a Glock 19 Gen 5. Maybe next time…
So, I’m in South Dakota today. Drove all day and made it past Iowa. South Dakota is surprisingly nice. At least the roads are. Best kept secret in the US?
You are on a leisure tour. How far you drive in a day is less important than the experience. If you are on I80, you might want to stop and see the world’s largest truckstop.
Reference One: Neo; Reference Two: Serena. I've known both these users for several years. I am sure you will receive glowing references from both. :)
