I think you've all heard how I got into Paranoia Agent, Higurashi and Madoka, so I'll need to think of something else... How about Ace Attorney? That started when my older cousin was playing Apollo Justice and was saying how great it was. He also followed up by saying I wouldn't be able to even beat case 1 because I wasn't logic enough. Well, I got the game and I proved him wrong! Hahahahahahahahaha... From there, I got into the other AA games and, well, that's how the ball rolls. Interestingly, I got into Professor Layton because a gaming magazine I read on a plane ride recommended it if you enjoyed Ace Attorney (this was when Unwound Future was just coming out...) So, that's neat.
