Over time, we commit acts with intentions, either good or bad, that require forgiveness. The second you fell off that train, you lost your life for 70 years. But with the determination and and the stubborn nature of Steve Rogers you are finally home and free. But most of all you are forgiven.

"I know I am. But I don't forgive myself. I /can't/ forgive myself for the things I did, the innocent lives I took, the pain I put others in. It's still a long way, but at least I no longer have to run away."

+1 answer in: “The past is a tricky thing. Sometimes it's etched in stone. And other times, it's rendered in soft memories. But if you meddle too long in deep, dark things... Who knows what monsters you'll awaken? #followed”

"I am talking about your brain." He said. "Some connections didn't work, so I had to see what was wrong. And there was an incredible mess." He explained. "I didn't violate your memories, I do that only with enemies."

Bucky looked at Loki. The god was sounding like he talked about a broken toy. It made him chuckle. "There isn't much to be vioIated anymore, but I know you didn't," he nodded. Instantly he was grateful for Loki's honestly.

Loki made a movement with his head to answer his thanks. "It was hard to work on your synapses. They were slightly damaged."

"They weren't very good at amputating an arm I think," he shrugged it off, but couldn't deny that the mere thought if having had Loki manipulate any synapse made him uncomfortable.

"Shuri and I collaborated." He said and took some steps away from him, then conjured a gun with dark magic, so pointed it, not at him, a few inches away before he fired.

The brunette frowned, but he immediately went over into some stance. His hand snapped up, so he caught the buIIet in its palm and took a step back. "A lot," he answered his own question, nodding again.
"Well," James raised his eyes. "Thank you," he chuckled.
Shuri and I collaborated He said and took some steps away from him then conjured

"Indeed. Vibranium." He said and looked away. "You have the strength of an Asgardian in one arm." He chuckled silently. "I contributed in the synapses' links of your arm to your brain, there is a spell of Quantum energy, it enhances strength and reaction." He explained.

Bucky's brows lifted very slowly. "You worked on my arm with them while I was asleep ?" He pulled a face, then nodded. "How much more faster am I with your spell ?"
Indeed Vibranium He said and looked away You have the strength of an Asgardian

"Amazing comparison, Valtteri. You've never been good at them," Bucky joked, giving his friend a friendly chuckle.

A name on his wall. The words echoed through his head, leaving behind a strange feeling which he didn't understand at first. But then, then he did. And it hurt him. He made it sound like a bad thing, while James himself had written that name on the wall of the room he used to live in. Over and over again, whenever they removed it from there and he remembered it again. It was a positive thing, a tiny glimmer of hope. Of course he didn't know why back then, but he always felt it. And that's what had kept him going, no matter how frustrating it had been or how often it had caused him to get his mind wiped again. "You were always more than that," he uttered still a little sleepy and, after a moment of consideration, eventually took the blonde's hand to get up. Natasha's lips curled into a small smile, before she turned away and headed outside already. "I'll get the room ready for you," she said just loud enough.
James looked around again and couldn't help but smile either. Like when they were kids, it was a complete mess this time, too. "Steve ?" He asked lowly, when something crossed his mind and raised his blue eyes again, a rare sparkle of curiosity in them. "Did you go on that date with Peggy ? Please tell me you did," he muttered, almost with a chuckle. A faint one.
