Did you ever get lost as a kid and your parents found you eventually ? Was it traumatic for you ?
Yeah, that happened a lot, particularly in supermarkets. My mum had a wonderful habit of telling me to go get something, I come back and she’s long gone! This often happened as a young child, I’d spend what felt like forever scouring the supermarket for her! It stressed me out beyond belief, but she never seemed that fazed 😅 it made me incredibly anxious though.
I’ve still had it happen in department stores (John Lewis in Oxford St is a prime example). Trying to find someone with no phone signal in a huge store can take forever! 🙈
